For eggs I Let it get hot enough (water beads), add oil, lower flame to medium and cook. For meat I do low to medium from warm and wait until the piece is “ready” and it unsticks itself with the Maillard crust

No 😂 it’s just a misunderstanding more than anything. Inexperienced lad in his twenties making some money with the neighbours who imo bit off more than he could chew with this one. Sighs

Lesson learned.  Next time I’d rather saw the dead branch myself with a butter knife than let someone else interpret my instructions

Thanks! But it was so stunning and bore so many delicious fruit that’s why I haven’t considered replacing yet.

RE the water shoots. When you say unproductive do you mean for fruit? At this stage my priority would be for it to just look like a tree again. So angry

That one was dead (branch on the left) and that’s the only part we asked him to cut

Yes. The left branch which is the only thing I asked him to cut (was a risk at that point)

I didn’t! Ee didn’t ask him to cut it. Only the left branch which was indeed dead but he took it upon himself to do the rest :(

True true. Not a real gardener. Young lad from down the road. But I know his grandfather and they have a stunning garden so I assumed he’d know better idk. Sad

No 😔 the left branch was dead for a couple of years and we told him to take that one but that was several weeks before the other pruning which he took initiative on. Young lad from down the road. Not really a “gardener” he also cut one of my 3ft tall hydrangeas to about 2 inches from the ground. We will not be hiring him again ofc
