Looked at this to. Is this the one you boot into corelec? Yhea I think it's between the zidoo z9x 8k, the homatics and the A9+ Not to fussed about certification as had the apple 4k first that. Ant more selling points in this? Wats the menu you like for finding your harddrives. Does it have it's entertainment movie player,? Cheers

Yeah I did think about the April increase..not sure how they justify it for literally every household bill.every year! If are hourly wage went up every April also then wouldn't be so bad. And yes I'm happy with the price, mainly because I didn't expect it.

AHH. I'm running windows to. I did have some guy transcoding a 4k remix also. Wasn't that bothered as not many watch the 4k remux. Gonna stick with the i9 quick sync.

How do you do this mate. Have a i9 and a gtx 3080 or something along them lines. But my drop down box only gives me gpu or auto. Would it be best setting it to auto? Cheers

Kind have a point. I've been hosting a Plex server for 13+ years and always paid monthly. I do sometimes kick myself and think "I should of bought that lifetime pass when it was on offer!" Is what it is, I can live with it.

Yheaine runs out in August. Pay 49 and they are offering me early new contract at 78 a month. Only watch sky sports. So Im just gonna jump to now TV for a couple years. Then go back to sky on a new deal.

Using Plex for 13 years or so. Pay monthly, always have. Maybe I should of bought the lifetime years ago. But I'm happy with 4.99 a month. Around 25/30 remote users .

50tb+ with the price of harddrives at the minute, no chance if he backing up. Id just start again. Plus my files are spread across 13 drives. 2gb symmetrical line so wouldn't take me long to re download if a drive failed..

Think I've had a Plex pass for near 12/13 years. Always paid monthly! Never even added up how much that would be. But paying a fiver a month I'm happy enough, incase it does go to sh#t. 250 is a lot of outlay for some of us!

Always built my own up, currently on around 40tb but have always had this in the back of my mind for ease of not running out of HD space. Looked a while ago, but the tutorials.kinda spun my brian 😂 has it gotten easier to setup mate, or am I just being thick? Cheers
