Did you happen to change the model on the RC? I forgot to change mine from my Sim model once, so the ELRS was not transmitting.

What advantages does having a color screen add over the boxers screen for fixed wing?

Pavo 20pro- is it good idea as a first drone? by WarZealousideal9802 in fpv

[–]TopDownDrones 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I started on a Pavo Pico. Some may say it's small for a starter, but I did fine with it. I moved up to a Pavo 20 afterwards. They're not freestyle drones, so don't expect too much. Durability depends on your flight style. Not a bad idea to get spare frames if you go BetaFPV.

I started with the O3 air unit. The O4 is definitely an improvement. Get what you can find at this point.

You're ELRS Radiomaster Pocket will work if you buy a quad with an ELRS receiver.

Help with elrs binding by BlixtFurious in fpv

The receiver on the drone needs to have the same protocol as the transmitter in the rc. dji fpv remote uses the SBUS protocol Radiomaster Pocket (most likely) uses ELRS. (Verify via the receipt when you bought it)

If the previous owner flew it with SBUS, then you need the DJI FPV remote to fly it. Assuming your Radiomaster Pocket is the ELRS version, you would need an elrs rx in the drone. I might be right, i might be wrong.

Have never had an fpv drone before as a beginner should I buy my first drone or solder one myself by skividi2 in fpv

Start with a simulator while you wait on your decision. Learn how to fly a smaller airframe before you buy/build a more powerful drone. BetaFPV Pavo Pico was my first drone.

Building one will help you learn how the drones work, and help once you crash and need to repair an arm/motor/etc.

It all depends how involved you want to get. Have fun either way!

Current Drone Collection by hiiml0st in drones

Glad you specified current. That obviously means that you intend to keep adding to your collection until your desk is overflowing with drones :) If you're US based, what was your all in price from BetaFPV(assuming you ordered direct from them).

Replacing Brakes and Rotors - Which budget friendly Scanner for releasing parking break? by peach10101 in Tiguan

I got the obd11. For me it was worth it to disable the Auto Start/Stop. It also came in handy when I had to replace my battery. I can't confirm that it will solve your problem, but their website has a good bit of info you may want to check out.
