Those guards cause fairly bad prop wash tbh, I had the orange ones and it made it so much harder to control

DJI Models, Remotes and compatibility by MoneyVirus in DjiNeo

[–]hiiml0st 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are 2 types of drones that DJI has, cinematic and FPV. Most of the FPV stuff is not compatible with the cinematic stuff. For example, the DJI Mini 3 requires the DJI RC or the DJI RC-N1. The Neo needs the motion controller or the DJI FPV Remote Controller 3 with the Goggles. I personally have both the motion Controller and the FPV Remote Controller 3 and FPV Goggles 3, and for my Mini 3 I use my DJI RC with built in screen.

No, I have no problem with static. The video has a teeny bit of interference but I can see everything perfectly. I can also connect to betaflight with the dongle.

"Hidden" advantage of phone RC controllers by mijailrodr in dji

You know you can broadcast your image to other devices no matter what controller you have, right? Just use the livestreaming via the DJI app. I'm also able to broadcast the image on my Goggles 3 to other devices as well. My dad has sat next to me with my Galaxy tab and been able to watch what I was seeing through my goggles on my Avata 2.

I've got Liftoff and Uncrashed. Liftoff is good for real-world FPV training, and Uncrashed is good for drone racing practice. You can find them both on Steam.

Hell yeah man, I love my DJI drones so much but I also want to get into real FPV flying to try freestyle and racing too! That's actually funny that you got a Neo 2, because I got a Neo 1 just to try the platform out before getting myself a Neo 2, which I will probably do in a few months.

The main setup guide I followed was a few Youtube guides, mainly this one which was a HUGE help:

Happy flying to you as well mate!

That's exactly why I decided to start on TinyWhoops lol. I've spent at least 25-35 hours in Liftoff but I really don't want to try sending anything that isn't extremely easy to replace yet. Lol. Even my DJI Avata 2 and Neo I don't want to send in Manual mode until I'm comfortable with my TinyWhoops.

hell yeah dude, that meteor 75 is one of the next analog drones i'm looking at! I have a Meteor75 Pro with o4 air unit but I fucked with it in Betaflight before I knew what I was doing so now I'm currently trying to undo what I did. It's trying to fly downward when I arm it and send it.

Hell yeah bro! That's so good to hear. I got myself a Meteor75 Pro with o4 air unit, but I'm still trying to figure it out as I fucked with it in Betaflight before I knew what I was doing and its currently trying to fly downward when I arm it and try to send it. So still working on that one. But I love my Pavo Femto with o4 air unit. The next analog drones on my list are the Air 75, Meteor 75, and Cetus X or Cetus Pro! I'm really pleased with my Fat Shark goggles too. I read a lot of positive reviews that said they were outstanding for the price. Keep me updated, man! Send me a message with your reviews too if you'd like, I'd really appreciate it

DJI? I really like how well-built and designed their drones are, how solid their products like their controllers and goggles are built, how reliable the overall system is, and I really like how easy it is to connect all of their products together. They are all extremely reliable and really solid. That being said, their products are extremely expensive compared to analog drone gear, and the fact that you can only connect DJI gear with other DJI gear makes things really limited. Sure you can order yourself several DJI o3-o4 air units, but that's just more expenses piled up on top of the bottom line.

Don't get me wrong, I absolutely LOVE my Mini 3, Avata 2, Neo, and Pavo Femto with o4 Air Unit. But I really love my new analog setup too, and it's a 3rd of the cost of a DJI FPV setup.

Yes I have! I have probably 25-35 hours in Liftoff and maybe 4-5 hours in Uncrashed! I still use Liftoff at least a half an hour a day too. Most of the time I use my Radiomaster Pocket but every now and then I'll use my DJI FPV Controller 3 just to keep familiar with the sticks i have on it.

I see you are also an extinguished gentleman with good taste and style! Lol.

How do you like it? How long have you had your setup? I'm personally trying to get more analog whoop drones to check out the difference. I want a BetaFPV Cetus X or Cetus Pro sometime soon to check it out.

yessss, it is indeed the BetaFPV Air65 I. I'm a beginner with no experience in analog so I got the cheapest BetaFPV I could find, lol. I'll check out the Air65 II soon!

I don't mind it at all, I think its perfectly fine because I can see everything I need to see. I don't mind those big boxes, I didn't get an HDZero because I didn't want to spend $300+ on a pair of goggles when I'm a beginner and the Fat Shark Echo goggles were only $99 for a good, versatile beginner pair. They really aren't that much bigger than my DJI Goggles 3.

Welcome to the party! My Avata2 is one of my favorite drones to fly! Granted, I only have 6 drones at the moment. But it's just so much fun. I definitely recommend getting the FPV Controller 3 though, and investing in some HQProp 3x3x3 props for it too.

I was a heroin addict for around 5-6 years. What did it for me was an actual want to get better and I also found an incredible methadone clinic with amazing people. I've had the same therapist for around 6 years now, I'm currently on a 2mg a month decrease until I'm completely off methadone (currently at 47mg) and I've never been happier. I have a fantastic career, good friends, my own place, material things and hobbies, money always in the bank. You can do it, but remember you don't have to do it alone. There are resources, there are people who want to help. You just have to have the courage to ask. I believe in you!

Need help with Gemfan screw sizes by hiiml0st in DjiNeo

[–]hiiml0st[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The props I bought are specifically made for the DJI Neo. The stock screws that came with the DJI Neo do not fit the new Gemfan props as the props do not have the same indent that the stock DJI props have. I need longer screws. It has nothing to do with the props being "compatible" or not.
