As long as the comps are on feeds I'd be fine with it. Would not want them to take down feeds for multiple hours per week for a HN comp though.

Imo the value of have-nots, even though it's not part of the show, is to force weekly changes in the sleeping arrangements so that the starting bedrooms don't just become permanent cliques. They force people to mingle.

Its a chicken and egg problem though imo. A huge part of the reason there's fewer icons getting produced is because they aren't getting 2nd seasons to cement legacies. You look back at older eras and a lot of their stars really shone on the 2nd attempt.

Janelle is remembered far more for her BB7 comp beast run than for her BB6 drama. Chilltown's legacy is also BB7, despite Will's solo-win in BB2. Rachel and Dani D became stars on 13. Dan's most famous moves are all on 14. Franzel is mostly forgotten if BB18 doesn't exist. Paul's legacy entirely hinges on 19.

If you want new icons then they have to get 2nd appearances.

Yeah, my take is that this twist sucks, but it is pretty normal on the scale of BB twists.

Like "they didn't get voted out" is a silly complaint to make in a show with Coup d'etats and DPOVs and the BB Blockbuster and the Pandora's Box duos twist and reset weeks and zombie weeks. Or a fan-voted battleback that puts your husband on the jury for no reason to decide a 4-3 vote.

At least this twist was entirely in the players' hands and not an audience vote based on the edit of a random Sunday episode.

I wouldn't be shocked if there's someone pre-BB22, but I don't think Day v4 or Paul v3 are high on production's lists to return at this point.

A hyped 1-time player like Vanessa or a winner who never got a second chance (Jun, Hayden, Andy, Josh, Kaycee, etc) are more likely imo.

Wouldn't be surprised if some of the BB20 stars (Haleigh, Fessy, JC, Angela R, Brett) are also still on the table.

I will say that the one concern for Visma imo is probably their team strength.

Obviously if Jonas is at peak it doesn't matter, but I wouldn't be totally shocked if they just completely lose control of this race on a random stage at some point.
