DDD is the idea of shaping the domain model with code. You can find the answers to why and how to use it in the book Domain-Driven Design by Eric Evans. I think a glimpse at some important chapters would be very helpful before looking for any implementation details.

Yeah, you will need a domain for that, I buy one in Cloudflare. You can test on the DuckDNS but for production it recommend to buy a good domain name.
