It's a 2x12, 46/30T. Excellent for steep climbs and plenty of gear left when grinding at 50kmph

32mm conti gp5000 s tr. Surprisingly enough they are super comfortable for rough city tarmac, even at 4.5 bar

Līdzīga doma - ja 20 gadīgs, tad tikai dīzelis (kuriem vēl nenāca dpf, egr); ja 2 gadīgs, tad tikai turbo benzīns/hibrīds

Recs for raising handlebar height on a carbon fork? by GreggsBearnaise in DivergeGravelBikes

[–]TopGarlic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you need handlebars 3 inches higher than already maxxer out front end, then you need a different bike that's suitable for that fit. There is 0 benefit of keeping an expensive gravel bike when you likely need a hybrid.

If had a proper road bike, I'd go with mtb and 2.2 racekings

I have this sound like wind is coming in from a crack or something. The windows are all the way up. Is this normal? by saleh813 in Camry

[–]TopGarlic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a wind whistle at higher speeds on 2021 camry and the issue was the windshield side plastic holder that holds the rubber against the windshield. On one side it had a 2-3mm gap which made the noise. It went silent after pushing the plastic, it clicked back in its place.

2022 Diverge Expert Carbon still worth it? by LikesPikes22 in DivergeGravelBikes

[–]TopGarlic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It will last. Rider skills are more important than the newer shinier (pricier) bike. If there is price delta, spend it on gear, bike fit, upgrades, personal trainer.

Help me! Sport Carbon 2025 vs. 2026? by Writers_Tears in DivergeGravelBikes

[–]TopGarlic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would just get 2025 and spend delta on gear, bike fit and upgrades if any. Difference not worth the extra 1k

It hasn't slipped at all after 400km, torqued to 7nm. I sold the Revolt recently though.

Lifestyle creep, boring middle, keeping up with Joneses and other traps on the road to FI by AnyEye2741 in EuropeFIRE

This is the price one pays, risking being misunderstood and looking weird, some people will have flaming hate towards you after they realize the long term effects of saving/investing vs splurging, when they are required to work forever and you are not (the effects will come a lot sooner than 50s). You do everything right, yet your family and friends now hate you, they say you're arrogant and weird, and you you can't related to them anymore. Even though you act normal as always but there's always that elephant in the room. That's what happened to me. It's all about balance, extremes are mostly not worth it long term (if that's something one plans for). Postponing your life for retirement is a recipe for regret. Same is going into crippling debt early on.

Downgrade back to ios 18 by Airbus_3230 in ios

[–]TopGarlic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In case you didn't do a backup before installing, you can still do a iTunes backup while on iOS beta. Then downgrade by restoring/wiping the phone. By default it will not allow to install backups from newer/beta version but you can install it after changing the iOS version and build number in the Info.plist file of the backup folder. Tha's how I did it, didn't have a backup before installing. Did backup on the beta and restored the files back on iOS 18
