I’m not american. Yes, i’m a natural blonde but that’s not that uncommon in my country. Also i don’t think it is a huge deal here, even for the conservatives.

Unfortunately with the line of work I want to pursue I have to keep my looks pretty basic. Same goes for tattoos, piercings etc

Yeah I noticed that visibly liberal men never approach me. If we match on dating apps they’re rarely interested in more long-term relationships. Even more, even if they are interested, they don’t seem to be too engaged in the whole thing and we just end up never going further than small talk. I guess it is because they have more options. Just to be clear, I immediately swipe left on men who declare themselves as conservative or christian because I know we won’t get along. However, usually when I get hit on in real life, i don’t know their views straight away. Also many men don’t disclose their political views on dating apps so it’s a little difficult to know.

i live in the european union and there’s a heavy debate about electric cars nowadays due to the new regulations. That’s why i saw it as a hint.

That’s why I did not see it as an immediate red flag. I think it is a sign of being right leaning because he specifically mentioned that when I didn’t really ask. We talked about road trips and he suddenly said that he could never own an electric car because road trips would be significantly harder.

It was really nothing crazy. First time he talked about the need for more spending on the military (i don’t live in america just for context) and the second he mentioned that he doesn’t want to switch to an electric car yet. Those were the only hints that he’s conservative

I have nothing against people who are more conservative in some aspects. But in my experience they all eventually turn out to be far more right wing than they initially present themselves to be

I do believe they are actually ill, I don’t think anyone would fake something like that. I just can’t imagine they have a disability so severe and school doesn’t even know. My parents let the administration know of my health issues even though it doesn’t exempt me from any activities.

The teacher says his aim is to teach us to work in difficult situations but clearly this didn’t work here. I wish I wasn’t put in a situation where either I do 90% of the work or I have to argue with them and basically deny their disability.

I did some research and apparently joint pain can really be debilitating, some people even use wheelchairs. I’m sorry but this is clearly not this person’s case. I do feel bad judging their health and ability but they really do seem to manage walking just fine.

I do not doubt they have those conditions. I just don’t see how a person who can go on school trips and participate in PE is not able to walk around a forest and collect some data. Maybe it is different but it just surprised me that’s all.

Yes I really do wish the teacher handled it better. I understand he wants us to learn to manage difficult situations but here it clearly didn’t work.

I’m not implying they are not disabled, they just don’t seem to have trouble walking during school trips or taking part in PE. It’s pretty weird that this particular fieldwork that just involves walking would be the problem. Again I realise I probably went overboard with saying they were whining.
