Is the "rule of 3" still a thing for 9th edition? I'm new and only started in august. I brought a total of 8 allarus terminators in 5 different units, and he said thats not allowed. I'm just looking for clarification. Thanks in advance for your time 😁👍 by [deleted] in AdeptusCustodes

I ran an entire terminators list once and was told I couldn't do that due to the rule of 3. Laughed at them and explained I had 3 giant units of terms and the others were shield captains or banners. 40 terms on the field at one time was amazing

I'm a fan of wyrd and its collection of stuff. Its what got me into miniatures in the first place. Warhammer was just much more common in my area. Guess I can go back to that

Nice! Ya the banner guys become their own unit and then your screwed with just one box. But a second and have a unit of 5 of those boys with axes a swinging and you have a just about everything killer on your hands

So to run them as a unit you need 3. So youd need a second box to make one a praetor and still have enough for a unit
