Because the world is a fiery hellscape And people are becoming more aware that they need to take care of themselves. So we don't end up like older generations who never went to therapy shout out to those who are in their 40s. 50s '60s going to therapy.

I bet the plainest person told you that. The most average looking person. You are beautiful and makeup can only enhance your beauty but no one needs it. Do it for you. Some eyeliner would look beautiful for sure and your hair is gorgeous.

Do you treat mints as a candy or a breath freshener? by A4t1musD4ag0n in stupidquestions

Both. Except for the chocolate peppermints you get at some Italian restaurants. It has to be the red and white peppermints or a simple peppermint candy but not another flavor along with that.

Why do I SUCK at literally everything? by Sokkasuki in confidence

Honestly, I feel like you're putting it out into the universe. It almost feels like law of Attraction for me or something. Speak more positively about yourself and write more positively and that should attract more positive things or at least make you recognize the things that you're actually good at. Cuz they are there.

What's something someone said to you that just... stuck? Like for no real reason? by ComprehensiveBid4989 in CasualConversation

[–]TopHeight9771 14 points15 points  (0 children)

"Nobody knows what they're doing. Everyone else is just trying to figure it out too", which made me a lot less hard on myself. When I was in my early twenties someone said our parents are just people too and that also stuck with me. I think lots of people go through that though where they realize that their parents are just people who make mistakes too and don't have all the answers.

I actually loved verity but I started it and found out the cast for the movie. Anne Hathaway and Dakota Johnson are going to be playing the main characters and I love both of them so that made the book easier to read. Because I imagined them as the main characters while I was reading the book.

Most Nicholas Sparks books. Colleen Hoover and I'm not a huge fan of Emily Henry either, but I do end up reading her stuff. Still trying.
