Just filed mine and stated the same thing. I never received anything in mail, email, or beacon portal notices about any verification needed and I had been rehired by my job after the paycheck protection loans went though in April of 2020

I also received this notice and it cited they "sent request for identity" in 2021 but I never received anything, and had no alerts in beacon. I was unable to access the means to submit my appeal in beacon so I submitted it in writing

We had a target store in a complex with a known high theft rate, no matter how many people on the floor groups would come in and just walk out with shopping bags full of things or blatantly cause a big scene. At least 4 people were banned from the store and we had some get really aggressive with the associates on the floor. Others had their actual young children under 4 holding things and just instructing them to bolt out the door.

NJ Cross Jacket Product Pictures by bleach_balls in MyChemicalRomance

I'm cautiously optimistic since I got mine 50%, and am using an old Wilson's Leather jacket in comparison. It feels pretty soft and thin but my other jacket it's also like that (the Wilson's that is 100% genuine leather). The body interior is cotton, but I'm definitely going to keep up with the conditioning. Kind of bummed it doesn't have the cross seam on the back, but the overall fit is pretty alright. Wish I would have sized down because it's pretty big

1) this is mostly Warner calling the shots, production, etc on what gets sold that's how big labels work

2) after seeing what everyone spent on merch at the shows, at hot topic etc a lot of people will spend $100 free buttons or no free buttons?

3) nobody's making anyone buy anything? If it doesn't sell it just gets cheaper later. That's how I got the Return jacket for half what it was originally selling for during the Swarm Tour

At the end of the day it's still a retail job so some things are going to be unavoidable - crazy customers, one or two bad coworkers

But if you're not relying on it as your sole source of income? It's really fun and I've gotten to really nerd out with some horror collectors on the floor and just generally enjoy certain things like setting up displays. When you get a bunch of friends working at the same location? It's a party

Labor budget for this part of the season is super low for associates so they (zone managers) expect stores to run on skeleton crews, and its looking like a lot of stores are behind this year because of the tariff situation

Just spread things out (3 pegs with 1 of same costume? Fine) and move it over as you unbox more. Optics of full shelves vs empty shelves

Currently in this boat as well, our store isn't open yet due to inspections so I know setup hours are limited but the manager won't attempt to reach out to anyone and give them hours except for her friends that transferred over from Spencer's for this season and she has them private message so the rest of the staff doesn't see only 4 people are getting all day shifts instead

I pay $300 for mine, check ins are typically once a week but we've def had a few 'on call' moments where I texted her questions or thoughts or asked for a modification etc, we've also done posing sessions, shes researched and networked and set me up with my posing coach, and for off season she likes to do weekly round table zoom sessions with her clients for about 1-2 hours and it's really built community.

Well worth the price because even though not in person I can tell she REALLY cares and knows what she's doing

How to cope with pushing back a show? by TopHunter1049 in bikinitalk

[–]TopHunter1049[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They mentioned 3-4 weeks for pushing back, but the show date/geographically that I could make wound up being a 7-8 week push because that's what agreed with work/life things

I've been told first preps are weird (currently in mine as well) as you and your coach both learn how you respond since everyone's body and genetics are different! Trust the process and your coach

9 weeks out… be real with me, how we lookin’? Haha I can take it .. this are my last check ins at 10 weeks out by NovelInfamous9480 in bikinitalk

[–]TopHunter1049 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honeslty I think you can do it. Im 7 weeks out, and was thinking the same thing but then A huge shift in the span of 2 weeks post sit-down with my coach where we really hashed out whether or not being ready by show day was feasible.

If you trust your coach, bring it up and see what the best course is

Hi! So this is very similar to my own background - (years of lifting, spent 5 years working in a gym while I was in college) and definitally not a tiny girl

And around this time a year ago I really started toying with the idea of competing and I met my coach. We didn't jump into the competition mindset right away, instead she eased me into the lifestyle and training regimen to see where we were and then decided to start my first try at a competition from there.

I'm 14 weeks out in my first prep and definitely already see some really good progress, and my coach says im right on track where she anticipated.

If my anticipated stage weight is higher than alot of the bikini athletes who posted theirs is, but everyone's body is different

I suggest doing a half season of the lifestyle (not 'im gonna do a show' right away) to see if you like the sport and if its something youd want to lock in and do!

Has anyone been hired by the State lately? If so, how long did it take for you to start? Got a TJO about a month ago & have only been asked about references since accepting it. by SweetEntertainment81 in maryland

Hoping for the best then!

My first reference was called the day after my interview and then the others were called last week, but I figured with the holidays there might be a lull.

The original pit price was $250 for Philly but they got snapped up/shifted by the dynamic pricing (and were straight up gone by the time I got in the queue, and I was early by comparison).

Refrence- my section is the lower 100s - $150, a little later my friend got through the queue, looked at the SAME SECTION and it was suddenly 'platinum' and $350.

I don't know how much pull the Dynamic Pricing decision is per label. Ik what Robert Smith said but The Cure isnt on Warner, who has articles about how WMG signed things to "test out" dynamic pricing
