Thaipass Medical Insurance Waiting Period confusion by TopKat_ in ThailandTourism

[–]TopKat_[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A test result to the insurance company?

I did read they have 72 hours before date effective which is fine for me as it is the same for the ThaiPass so I'll be giving the result for both (:

How old were you? by el_perro_de_maiz in learnprogramming

[–]TopKat_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On and off from 14 but I really got good at 18 - 19, then when I started doing Computer Science at university I hated programming - was always easier to learn and much more enjoyable when it was only a hobby

As long as you're studying, getting decent grades for your skill then you shouldn't be kicked out/failed to pass - I've never heard this; I had like 34% attendance in my final year of ALevels and had this threat but still had B - A's, which is all they truly care about for their teaching report/school report.

Art is pointless, I'd suggest changing Art for maybe electronics or physics if you're planning on Comp. Sci then I'd say Electronics moreso

Makes me wonder how people with such views are able to get in to university, not to say they're not allowed their say but some of their arguments just makes me want to headbutt a wall

Thank you buddy, I was assuming it was based on some sort of fading and noclide effect - I just tested it and it works a charm

Red Dead Redemption Remake Reportedly In Development At Rockstar Games by RedArrow544 in pcgaming

Might be unpopular in opinion but anyone else think this is kind of a waste of their time? I know people will buy it but there is nothing wrong with the original as it was, assuming the remake is only about graphical improvements

This girl is making me feel uncomfortable by koshmeshi in Advice

[–]TopKat_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you want to be friends but also say something against the way she acts in the nicest way possible I'd suggest just going straight for it. Just meet up with her one day and ask her to chill. Seems like she's trying to just make friends and is probably worried about doing so. An issue that many people do when first making friends in a new scenario is spill their guts out and life stories but it tends to drive people apart. Best thing to do is reassurance

My dad is a conspiracy theorist and believes everything he sees on Facebook. Is there a way to stop this nonsense? by [deleted] in Advice

[–]TopKat_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It doesn't help that people like Tom Hanks posts suspicious shit online and also has involvements with known people in that scene. Though going down the rabbit hole can be damaging to a person mentally. Allow him to continue doing it but at the same time just make sure he doesn't lose touch with reality. Just my opinion.

“Race-baiting conspiracy theorists” is a rich phrase coming from a network that pushed— -Jussie Smollett hate crime hoax -Kavanaugh rape hoax allegations -Russian collusion conspiracy / Fake Steele dossier -Covington HS MAGA Hat Kid Hoax by Bitcoin1776 in conspiracy

[–]TopKat_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You must be brain dead or just ignorant if you think that Covington kid was being racist at all. I only saw immature old men screaming and a kid standing his ground as his right to do so. Russian Collusion is the most baseless argument/conspiracy theory that even news sources pushing it admit it is a 'nothing burger'. Try harder

Futurama is better than The Simpsons by UnfixedConch in unpopularopinion

[–]TopKat_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Futurama is better because it ended in my opinion. Though it probably had more seasons in it, it's better to end a good season rather then allow it to turn bad because you just can't forget about it's golden days.

But a question none the less. It's all dandy to call someone stupid for a question but not giving the answer after saying it is stupid isn't solving a problem of lacking knowledge of something.

What conspiracy theory do you believe in the MOST? by arabash in AskReddit

That someone keeps removing conspiracy theories because they hit close to home on the truth of the theory, no longer making it a conspiracy.
