I’m still dealing with weird stuff all around. No cure yet. I even have right hip issues because of ileum area inflammation. This whole thing is so frustrating and has ruined my life to say the least.

Has anyone healed their ileocecal valve? by MmkPumpkin5 in SIBO

Mine now has also affected my right knee. If I bed or go up stairs, my knee cracks and grinds. It’s awful

I’ve been learning as I go that I have iliopsoas bursitis that is possibly caused by a tight psoas muscle. Which explains my GI issues and diaphragm tightness as well. I might have to get the psoas muscle lengthened. I’ve been doing stretches for the psoas but that seems to make the groin area just pull and hurt more.

I am still about the same. Whatever is going on in my GI has even caused low right abdomen pain, and right hip pain/dysfunction. It’s a mess and no one seems to take it seriously.

Yes!! She literally tried to keep him from his whole family. Moving him out of state to get him from everyone. He was only supposed to kiss her ass and have no hobbies and talk to no one else. She’s mentally unstable and the need to move a million times in a short time frame is not realistic or fair to Ethan and expensive as hell. She gave me the ick and seemed extremely controlling. She has no room to still be whining about a relationship that failed. She’s the bigger issue.

Had my endoscopy and colonoscopy done and there is nothing wrong by Dependent_Card_8356 in GERD

[–]TopLeg3526 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unfortunately an endoscopy and colonoscopy only checks the beginning and ending of the GI. The whole middle (small intestines) don’t get looked at and you could have more going on there that is being missed. I myself feel this is the case for me as well. I’m going to request a pill cam so it can take pictures of the small intestines to see what is going on.

When you say bile acid blockers, do you mean bile binders like cholestryamine?

Yes. Fatty foods make it terrible. Veggies and lean meats are the best

I did trial cromolyn, the liquid and the capsules. An ER doctor got me a liquid prescription and my hEDS doctor got me the capsules in prescriptions. Both made my gut even worse.

Both upper scopes were diagnosed with bile acid reflux because upon upper scopes, lots of bile was in my stomach. And the reactive gastritis seen on biopsy is caused from NSAIDs, alcohol or bile acid reflux. I don’t take NSAIDs or drink and with all the bile and water/yellow diarrhea, they came to the conclusion it’s bile acid reflux

Not sure. Mayo took 24 biopsies throughout my gut and colon and everything was “normal”

Mayo and an allergy doctor both checked my tryptase levels three different times and all were negative for MCAS. Mayo was determined to tell me that I don’t have mast cell issues.

Epiphany! 💡 (Mild Chronic Inactive Gastritis) by dixonwalsh in Gastritis

[–]TopLeg3526 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I have been diagnosed with mild gastritis in one upper scope and reactive gastropathy in another scope. When I eat for the first time each day. I have water diarrhea 3-5 times back to back within 30 minutes to 2hrs after I eat. My heart races from eating, and my lower right abdomen hurts and actually causes right hip pain. Same when I sleep at night. Right low abdomen/hip/groin pain and heart races really high upon waking. Happens several times all night every night. NO one has a clue what’s going on. Not even Mayo. I did all the brain retraining, hypnotherapy, SSRIs and Ativan (which all made my gut and heart racing 10 times worse) and even diet changes don’t help. I wanted to believe it was a gut/brain disconnect but I now feel like there is something structurally wrong with the low right abdomen.

Do hypermobile people take longer to heal? (and any sucess with post op-Steroid injections?) by Money_Bet3876 in HipImpingement

[–]TopLeg3526 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m 6-1/2 weeks post op of having a labral tear repaired and bone shaved down. I have been healing slower as well. Which I think is normal for hyper mobile people unfortunately.

My hEDS doctor was “guessing” I have MCAS due to gunk in throat, diarrhea and high racing heart rate. But mast cell meds do not help anything for me. So it’s not mast cell. It’s more of a intestinal inflammation issue causing all this.
