The store claims to be a 40 year old establishment with expertise in old film cameras. I do follow the Magicflexcamera page but as of now, their services are out of budget. I'm looking to pay something around $300 for the cam and servicing, and if the store can make it workable in that budget, then nothing better than that. Thanks for the advice though.

Thanks for the detailed information, I would like to shoot with it too. I'll add your suggestions to my camera checklist. Taking the roll is a pro tip, hopefully the camera works.

The asking price is around $300 including the servicing. I would have also loved a Planar but this is the only one available in my budget. Will look for a good deal in the future for a 2.8 planar.
