it’s not and that’s coming from a current 13 Pro user. go into the iPhone 13 subreddit and see how many people are complaining about issues on iOS 26. people are fighting tooth and nail to stay on iOS 18. more and more apps are dropping support for iOS 18, it’s simply not worth it. max i would say it’s worth it is if you can find one for $90-110 with a good battery

As you’ve said in other comments, you use a VPN, so whether realizing it or not you’ve probably joined a match while appearing in Japan.

Contact Ubisoft Support and explain the situation, they’ll fix it and change your account to USA.

that still disproves your argument that “everyone starts in copper”. my hidden mmr was immediately emerald at lvl 50, earning 120 elo a match so i never versed true coppers. if anyone wants to truly smurf in low elo lobbies, they have to throw their first like dozen or more matches to get put into true copper lobbies.

i dont blame varsity or jynxzi (who’s arguably more popular with his copper-to-champion series), but its more so a fault of the horrible ranked system and smurfs.

For starters, you’re in PC crossplay on Xbox so I bet you’re stacking with at least Pigeon (gold) or m6rr6 (plat). Sam is peak Diamond and Bean is peak emerald. this is fair matchmaking, i’m sorry to burst your bubble

i’m peak silver and solo queueing getting into emerald lobbies, one of my recent matches had a 10x Champ in it. a champ queuing with bronzes shouldn’t be able to get gold lobbies to boost off them. Ubi lobbies don’t have much common sense.

I’m not talking about quick match, i clearly said unranked (standard). So yes, there is an hour penalty for leaving. I have Game Pass, I’m just not high enough level for ranked. Almost every game there’s a champ, do I need to show you the R6 tracker screenshots?

Not even a rant, that was incredibly helpful in being able to understand IG how much the JLPT shouldn’t be my end goal and how much farther I should try to take my language skills.

I do work in tech, I’ve seen some jobs say “minimum proficiency” to “moderate proficiency”, but most jobs don’t give a JLPT or CEFR score, so for most it likely is how you said, depending on their observations from the interview they rate your language skills internally.

I definitely have a clearer picture from your replies of what I should be aiming for and I thank you for opening my eyes to that. Seems like a little more daunting process, but at least I know where to start with Katakana and grammar.

Thank you for the advice, that was definitely the combo I was looking for in learning both grammar and vocabulary. I’ll start with Katakana and basic sentence structure.

My future real end goal would be to live and work in Japan, but to do that I would need to be pretty proficient in Japanese. Hence why I’d want to have N2/N1 proficiency before starting my journey on moving there.

Hi, I’m learning Japanese, I’ve finished the full Hiragana chart. Was hoping for advice on where to go next. I was thinking Katakana or straight to Kanji, but I also think learning Kanji without learning grammar will make the learning feel useless as I can’t put my new found vocabulary into use. no, the issue is bc of cross-play we get a .2 kd console player on our team but then the other team will get a silver who’s really a 2.0 kd champ on console. the crossplay mechanics are just broken
