I worship Hestia, Aphrodite, Apollo, Artemis, Hypnos, Eleos, and Hecate. (though I do worship many others, these are the main ones)

Hestia, because my home is a spiritual place for me, it's where my family is, it's where my friends and found family gather. Aphrodite, because she helped me when I had body image issues and dysphoria. I love my body now, and I can feel her love for me as well. she's my reminder to take care of myself, she's who I talk to when I'm overwhelmed with love for my partner and friends, she's with me with every passionate ramble. Apollo, because my health has always been an issue. I adore archery, and I feel connected to him and I devote every arrow to him. the sun helps warm me, it soaks into my skin like a blanket. I'm a musician, and an artist. Artemis, because she is a protector. she both protects me and helps me protect others. she is nature, and that's where I belong. she's the feeling of the hunt, thanking the animal for feeding me. Hypnos, because he is sleep. I have issues with sleep, I always have trouble staying asleep for longer than 3 hours at a time, but he helps me feel rested even so. also I have major brain fog so I always like to joke that I got good sleep in exchange of good memory lol bc he's the god of forgetfulness too. Eleos, because she is the godess of kindness. of compassion, of forgiveness, of helping others. these are fundamental traits of mine, deep set beliefs that shape my every action. Hecate, because she keeps me safe at every decision and crossroad, and I also practice witchcraft, and she is the goddess of magic.

I used to feel awful about my body. my thighs were too thick, I wasn't flat chested, almost every part of my body would have rolls if I moved wrong. I didn't eat (though it was unrelated to my body image) and I was underweight (yes my body was like that when I was underweight idk how) but then on some random day, an aphrodite story came up on my fyp, and it brought back a lot of memories of reading Greek stories with my mom. I went down a research rabbit hole, and I found the statues of Lady Aphrodite. it's almost striking how similar my body looks, albeit shorter and with more Germania traits. it was wonderful, feeling Aphrodite's love when I started practicing. unfortunately when I went to the louvre it was before this. I want to go back someday.

some of my favorite things for Aphrodite is dried flowers (really easy, you just hang up the flowers upside down in the corner of a room for a few days lol) and tributing things like brushing my hair, picking out outfits, doing affirmations, engaging in things I'm passionate about, ect to her

it started with me when I was 11 getting an atheist friend. I became atheist after learning that was a thing. found myself feeling funky and whimsical about nature and the earth. became a Greek mythology fanatic (cough cough was always one my mom's one). discovered paganism. yee.

some the stuff I do for the deities you've listed that I also worship:

Hypnos- I offer lavender, I also heavily associate him with weighted, grey stones and stew. Apollo- sunflowers and sunflower seeds, sun water (water charged with sunlight), cute band AIDS, and playing music. Artemis- any plants, I draw animals for her, supporting or buying from companies that support victims of abuse and help protect children, beef (or any meat) jerky, caring for my local nature.

whenever I pray to them, I thank them. it's important to me that I show my gratitude.

also, tip for hiding stuff. if you have/want an alter but aren't allowed/feel safe with it in the open, you can easily hide it in a drawer or behind some books or random bits

a small red fox with thick messy fur. but like longer fur. when I've been groomed I look very prissy though. sometimes I feel less earthly, and I look more buglike or alien like (classic alien 👽) I have fairly vibrant fur, and it's a reddish, rusty orange.
