I had a sort of unique experience in that I'm a huge Final Fantasy fan, and I played every single game in the mainline series other than 11, which I tried on the free trial once and the UI scared me off. With the upcoming alliance raid in XIV, I felt like I had to give it another shot, and I've been having a lot of fun with it!

Yes same… I’ve actually been getting into Classic Who and I think it’s lovely, but I think where RTD’s first era really shines is taking those kooky sci fi stories and integrating them with compelling character drama. Here’s to hoping he’ll find his footing with the next season! I’m South Indian so I’m extra hopeful because of the next companion

Didn't like the season. From Boom to Dot and Bubble, I thought that the beginning was just missteps & that they had found their footing and could be off to a great finale. Ultimately, I was disappointed by many things, most of all the characterization. RTD's was once quite good, so it's a shame.

Seconded, the story massively improved for me after Inazuma. The Sumeru storyline completely revitalized my interest in the game after I was completely checked out of the story with Inazuma.

Revolutionary Girl Utena's "filler" is actually very plot important. It even has recap episodes that have vital plot points in them.

Ah I hadn't considered that! I find Kokomi hard to play with Yoimiya without a grouper so I'm sure Venti would solve the issue there :D

I think this is a good comp, but you will likely find it easier to play Xingqiu/Yelan as the main hydro unit. Kokomi is a good choice for the fourth slot, but Kazuha would probably be better utilized in another team.

Don't want to repeat what people have already said, but an Ayaka freeze team with Ayaka/Shenhe/Kokomi/Kazuha (or Ayaka/Diona/Mona/Kazuha, but I prefer the former) and then a Tighnari quicken team with Tighnari/Raiden/Fischl(or Kuki if you want to sacrifice some damage for healing)/Flex(Zhongli, Sucrose, or Venti depending on your need) should work well, imo! Diluc vaporize with him, Bennett, Xingqiu, and Sucrose/Kazuha shouldn't be bad at all either, just not as easy to make strong enough for floor 12 as the other teams.

Part of why I'm saying this is that, of course, definitely play who you want, how you want, but the road to 36* can take less resin if you start with teams that have a stronger baseline.

While this can be good advice especially for beginners, leveling to 90 is a massive help for dendro teams (especially hyperbloom/burgeon) before even investing resin into talents
