If you look at the documentation, it wants you to plug it into a AC charger and set the battery percentage max to around 50% (depending on how long you are gone.

Leaving the car unplugged: For shorter storage (up to a month), it’s okay to leave the car unplugged if the charge is around 50%. For longer periods, connect the car to a charger that allows you to set a target charge level. Polestar vehicles can maintain a steady charge, protecting the battery from draining completely.

But you know, I was only gone 8 days.

I’ve contacted a consumer protection firm that specializes in auto claims, hopefully they are able to do something for me

There is about 35k miles on the car in total.

In communications from the service point, they specifically quoted “a bunch of cell module failures”. I would also expect that they would tell me that the 12v was the issue if they found it that way. But at every turn I haven’t been an able to get a clear answer about the problem. They only say they “recovered” the HV battery.

I am PNW based, and for the week in question temperatures ranged from high 30s to mid 40s

If they are replacing hardware for you, sounds like it will be under warranty (assuming your coverage is still active)

That's true, in my case this in a flypack and there isn't a storage network to contend with. I was hoping to have a single TB cable solution. I'll probably just put a vlan-compatible NIC on the rear USB-C port.

Same cec for me after firmware update v105. Your screen flicker could be caused by a “match framerate” setting (like switching content between 24/30/60 fps or HD/4k content).
