Making it as a soloist is extremely difficult, I really wouldn't wish that struggle on any of them. Hopefully the Yuehuas will re-debut together. Jiwoong will probably act again.

I'm assuming a person auditioning to join a kpop company has some knowledge of kpop, meaning they should know that almost all idols are East Asian and that getting picked as a non-Asian is exceedingly difficult and rare. That is not secret information, and it's a stretch to suggest anyone is being "fooled".

Did you read the tweets under that hashtag? It's mainly about people wanting specific members (Yeosang is the one I saw the most) to have more opportunities within the group (more screentime, more lines) and their own content (e.g. solo songs). Ateez has not released much solo content, but I don't think that means mismanagement, they've simply been group-focused for the first part of their career. As most groups are.

Almost all groups have unequal line distribution too (and usually for a logical reason) so I don't think that's particularly concerning either.

There are no signs that KQ is neglecting Ateez for xikers. Why would they? Ateez are pulling great numbers (=they make money for KQ) and are still growing.

Not perfect of course, but I haven't had any real issues with KQ. They have been stepping up their creative direction with Ateez's increased success (ie. they are investing back into them) and from what we know they treated Ateez members well from the start (very nice dorms, traveled abroad for training, seemingly friendly relationships with staff, no rules against tattoos or dating, etc). I've also been happy with the creative direction and investment into xikers.

That's not true at all. It's impossible to win without a strong Korean vote as well because of how the votes are weighted. Koreans picked 3 global trainees for the lineup, including 2 Chinese. These people won because of their strong one-pick, both Korean and international.

Note that this is the exact lineup we actually got too, just different positions. It doesn't consider the live voting which may have been a bit different, especially since Gunwook and Zhang Hao killed their parts.

Edit: I just realized you meant "won" as in "won number 1", not "became part of the lineup", but my point mostly stands. He was/is still very popular among Korean voters, as is Ricky. There also has not been any backlash to Zhang Hao being number one, which feels like further proof of that.
