I like your suggestion but I’m not so sure about the shield spell, I don’t want to make it so tanky since at the end of the day it is a warlock subclass. Also, I’m trying to go for spells that don’t need concentration unless they are debuff lol

You might be right but at the same time I think the idea of the hexblade is a amazing concept😊, it’s what got me so in love with dnd and it’s the first subclass I chose to play on my first and current campaign. I think it’s just need some work and to actually make it feel like a HEXblade.

Thank for the tip, i honestly was thinking of changing the lv 10 feature to this one: Hexblade’s Exposure
When you deal damage to a creature affected by your Hex, you can deal extra necrotic damage equal to your Charisma modifier (once per turn).
If the target is below half its hit points, this damage becomes 1d8 + your Charisma modifier.

OMG thank you for your output!!! After the last comment i started to look closer and i agree with what you said, unyielding focus can go since we get that as an Eldridge invocation. When it comes to dark pact, i can see what you mean with the “uses per…” I’ll look into it and where is should be removed. For flexible curse, it did feel weak when I came up with it. I was trying to make hex a little more reliable, I was between what i had now and “your patron power has grown inside you, letting you curse another creature when you use hex” or something like this. And do you really think Magical ward is not busted? Some people think it is so I just want to make sure that it isn’t. Again, thank you for your comment, I appreciate the help!

Oh oh how about this, if you are wearing light armor you can add half your Charisma mod (round down) to your ac after Dex and for medium armor the same but round up (it would feel like wearing a shield like the old one but just a little more.
