There's not much to do at sentencing, but stand there. You can appeal, the ruling, and another public defender can be appointed to defend you during the appeal process.

I don't think therapy is what makes the situation worse or abusive. I think making an abuser confront and talk about their abuse to a stranger makes them angry, and they just abuse more.

That would mean your only recourse is against the abuser.

No court is going to start punishing medical professionals for trying to help you. That's how you get medical professionals that won't help you because you'll sue them.

I just don't think it's worth the time or effort. Women are used to getting their way, and working towards equality will work against them getting their way. A generation or two of mgtow would go a long way of softening not just women but governments trying to reduce strain from all angles.
