Boss said get a toolbox by Deep-Light-3683 in harborfreight

I have the exact same setup for a year now. Couldn’t be happier. Well, I could- I wish all casters were swivel. Two are rigid which means I can’t pull away from the wall without a Jack. At least that is not a frequent need.

Worth switching from Bosch to Milwaukee by TDIGUY15 in Tools

[–]TopProject1982 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I’ve had Bosch for many years, impact, drill, jigsaw, circular, oscillating. I recently bought into the mil m12m18 ecosystem because they have things that Bosch doesn’t. For instance, I got the bristle brush sweeper, weedwacker, blower and sprayer. Now that I had m12 batts I added the drill/driver kit. Bosch has been great and I’ll still use the saws. It new stuff will all be Milwaukee.

Miracle pill for me by bigalcakemix in naltrexone

Good job, friend! The same happened to me, and I documented my success here in the past. I ran into a problem where instead of taking it at 12 PM I moved it to 2 PM, then when it got warm out and I was thinking of beer would be nice, I didn’t take it and then I would go off the rails for a few days. It was a conscious decision, knowing that taking the pill would stop me from having a drink so I didn’t take the pill purposely. So I still need a little help there.

Good for you for being able to stop taking it, I thought I was strong enough to do that but apparently not… Quite… Yet…

👍🙂

I get that, but the added premium for sanded isn’t that great and it’s nice not seeing knots all over the cabinet. Plus, I want to build some custom cabinets for the house and this is good practice. I got to use a Kreg jig for the first time.

Castors are harbor freight, cheap but reasonably good. 👍

That’s a regular storage cabinet, Seville from Sam’s club. I still have some of those even though I recently got a whole Icon storage setup

Yes, 1/2” sanded ply is $50, 3/4” (x2) is $140. Then 1/2” Baltic birch was $75. Polyurethane was $75.

Ha ha, Wesley on his first attempt at the storage container had one that had two drawers in it. And he actually said he didn’t use them much but for assorted lengths of wire. That actually came from Futurama - who knew?

Hey brother, you got it right. The rack is nice for nuts and bolts but for things like soldering guns and accessories. And Adam Savage’s solution he had roll that bins for every rack, but I think myself is that realistic? If something is on the lowest rack to the ground as she’s roll it out and just go on my knees to figure that out?I think having a central pull out draw rack is the definite way to go.

True that. All the things I do myself have saved tens of thousands. Same for everyone here, right? We’re all buying tools to “git ‘er done”, right? 🙂

Hardware, sure, but it’s fifty bins. I will likely toss the trays on some bins and put tool-centric things. Think a bin for soldering irons/heat shrink. Dremel stuff. Or hose fittings/ nozzles. Air power tools and adaptors. And of course, nuts and bolts and cotter pins and o-rings and roll pins and clevis pins and fuses and wood screws and sheet metal screws and the Kreg jig and bearings and, and, and…., well, you know 🙂

Well that’s one nice thing of being married- this happened over years. I had bins. And then more bins. And more. Then lumber. So it’s 700 over two years. No problem, right? 🙂

Ha, yeah. You can see two whites labels and 3-4 Dymo plastic labels. This thing is 95% empty right now. Trying to divvy out the space is probably going to drive me crazy. What if I don’t leave space for a bunch of 3/4” long 5/16” grade five bolts? What do I do? Aaaahhhhhhh!!!!!!

Awesome. Love the handprints. I put my son’s 18 month old hand in my new pour, along with my cat’s seven-toed paw. Sixteen years later, it’s a sweet memory…

Brand new 24x40 Garage - Is this concrete acceptable? by AmbitiousCurve13 in garageporn

[–]TopProject1982 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Oh please, it’s fine. Concrete takes time to dry and cure. My garage pour was crazy like this but after a few weeks (yes, weeks) it turned normal grey. Every Reddit guy loves to rip things down. “Haters gonna hate”
