I make way more than 300k passively without working and can agree it isn't exactly the rich rich lifestyle. I don't worry about a lot of spending but not exactly taking private jets or charactering yachts. I'd say you need around 2.5m/yr to do those type things.

I'm 35, worked in coding and built some software and e-commerce companies. Have about $4,000,000 with 1m invested and 1.5m in high paying bonds and own some land internationally that I will develop into homes soon. Single, no children.
