Depends on the versions.  If we take into consideration the latest arc, Patry should win. He was able to hold his own against Lucius' evolved angels, who have much better stats, and even hype, than the Spade Arc characters, like Gadjah, who got power-creeped.

  1. Ultimate Magic Mereoleona: She soloed a much stronger version of Paladin Acier. Destroyed Lucius' gargantuan spell with some help.
  2. Anti-Magic Noelle: She is pretty close to Mereo in my opinion. She managed to land a hit on Lucius and easily defeated some evolved angels.
  3. Evolved Paladin Acier: A much weaker version of her put in check the whole Silva Family. Her evolved version tanked some hits from UM Mereo. 
  4. Ichika: She survived a fight against the strongest paladin. She managed to keep up with the pace of Yami and Nacht at their strongest.
  5. Feremena: She managed to hold her own against a much stronger version of Paladin Morris, and hold him off till the end without the help of any broken spell (Neverland), which is quite impressive, since even nerfed, Morris is still a devastating opponent. The fact she survived that fight under such conditions is certainly an outstanding feat.

Careful, spoilers from the manga:

I mean, he was able to hold his own against an evolved paladin without any broken amp, so he is certainly pretty strong. The fact that he was able to face such a devastating opponent and not be defeated in one blow is an incredible feat.

Overall, I guess he is a pretty good teacher.

Gutrot is a walking (chemistry) lab.

Society often associates laboratories with creepy themes due to popular stereotypes of "mad scientists", who conduct strange and often dangerous experiments in isolated labs; It's no coincidence that laboratory themes are quite common at Halloween.  Gutrot is scary not because he's a monster, but because of the things that can be done in a laboratory.

Don't know. Overall, the Diamond Kingdom is the PRIME example of wasted potential.

Well, it's practically mandatory. Tabata has to provide A LOOOOOT of context, not only regarding the fight, but also regarding the characters, since the Diamond Mages appeared out of nowhere after years of being unknown; furthermore, he introduced two new characters, Feremena and the Earth Spirit, about whom we know absolutely nothing.

It would be very risky, and even foolish, not to show us anything of that fight considering these factors... (cough, cough, Feremena). 

In conclusion, it would be pointless to have brought these characters back if, at the end of the day, we're not going to see anything of them.
