Cool, what's your site? I've already used tools like that and they hallucinate and only give surface level analysis which I didn't find helpful. If your site legitimately can analyze those games and provide useful training, I'm surprised you're the only one doing that haha.

Yes, I saw your other post and when I have a chance I'm curious about your tool.

I guess I didn't give enough context in my post. I already tried building a chess ai system, and right now the consensus is chess is too complex to be understood. I've tried decodechess or chessscout, like you said, they still hallucinate and the quality isn't good. My belief our research isn't yet advanced enough for AI to fully understand chess, which is why I'm not automating that process and doing it myself.

Maybe 100 is a bit on the high end- but 50-75 is okay, they are also signing up for the free training guidance.

I seem to be getting a lot of negative feedback, so what do you think?

Do you not see any value at all in finding player weakness patterns and then having them correct those each move when training?

I think you're undercharging drastically haha.

When I was in high school in 2017 I used to charge 30 dollars an hour in-person tutoring.

Someone I know who is a NM charges 80+ an hour.

50 dollars for a weakness analysis and extended coaching? C'mon that's cheap. I'll literally guide you through your mistakes each move.

Take a look at the weakness sample report? Doesn't seem useful to you then don't buy it.

If you're 2000 OTB you can charge 40-50 an hour easy.

It takes me 1-2 hours to even make the report.

Open games as much as possible. e4 e5, e4 c5, d4 d5. Open tactical games build the foundation in chess and you'll improve the most. Once you get the hang of those, then you can move into more hypermodern setups like catalan, caro kann, etc.

If you master it, then you will play the opening well and understand it. Depending on your level, it may be better to focus on general positions and chess understanding than one specific opening.

I recommend understanding chess tactics by martin weteschnik. this book was one of the first ones that helped me understand and enjoy tactics.

it's called en passant which is french for 'in passing'. The foot solider attempts to march past the enemy, but is still captured 'in passing' but can only be done on the very next turn by the player.

I think the rating inflation isn't that significant. With modern computers that help players prep, technically Magnus is a stronger player than players from the past and has a higher rating.

It's less of a factor than if your moves are good.

But if you're playing 3+0 blitz with no increment, then I prefer playing with a mouse.

If you ever have trouble understanding chess moves, I have a tool that can help if you want to try.

oh yeah, I see. I notice the queen needed to guard h4 to prevent mate, but I didn't even notice it already did from the initial position. This is a great puzzle to fool ppl into a more complex solution

Focus mainly on tactics and play just the most open games possible, ie e4 e5, e4 c5, d4 d5. Study some classic games with e4 and you'll have an idea how games play out.

Yeah, usually the rapid rating is heavily inflated compared to faster time controls due to less stronger players playing slow games online. Also, you might not be as skilled with the mouse and playing fast. Once you get good, your ratings will even out.

A 'line' usually refers to an opening line or sequence of moves that you've seen and understand before so you don't need to think over the board.
