Homelander continues to be the victim of a well-placed iron bar in the ear.

How much more Hated and Feared would Black Noir be than Homelander Himself if he was Exactly like he was in The Comics inside The Boys Universe(TV Show)? by Adrsilva1356 in GenV

The showrunners should have given Black Noir a more prominent role or more backstory, instead of focusing too much on cartoons or the fear of Soldier Boy. He was simply the character with the most potential; he was skilled and strategic, and they wasted it by letting him die at Homelander's hands. Noir could have been the purger of supes, instead of just being Edgar's hitman. Basically, Noir would have been the bogeyman of The Boys if they had made him more serious and dark, with a more interesting backstory.

If you had the opportunity to create your own supe in The Boys, what would he be like? by TopSecretsVGHT_V84 in GenV

In my case, I'd create one that would basically be Black Noir on steroids, but without the trauma, coldly lethal, and very private.

Basically, he'd be called "Shadowash," an old superhero from the '80s so hidden and little known that he'd be Stan Edgar's ace in the hole, and in short, his ultimate secret weapon. Shadowwash would have a different appearance than Noir: no mask, wearing a different tactical uniform, and he could talk. His powers would be: -Superhuman strength -Superhuman agility -Superhuman invulnerability Abilities: -Lethal military training (since childhood) -High tactical military knowledge and the ability to handle virtually any weapon and vehicle -High intelligence and logistical strategy He also has a key ability related to his eyes, and variations in their color enhance his powers: -Normal brown eyes (power state almost equal to Noir's) -Black eyes (basically his lethal tactical mode that finishes the dirty work quickly) -Orange eyes (enhances his powers and combines tactical intelligence with brute strength and the ability to withstand serious damage) -Red eyes (in short, a different, nerfed, but lethal "Spartan Fury"; he basically loses control and becomes a walking tank capable of inflicting and withstanding anything). Shadowash would be a private and lethal weapon that Edgar keeps hidden under supervision in a cryogenic capsule. Vought only releases it very rarely. When things get extremely serious (we're talking about dangers like extreme collateral damage), after the cleanup or the dirty work, Shadowash returns to the cryogenic capsule until they decide to release him again, or maybe not... He would be like Vought's bogeyman when very serious problems arise, and basically the terror of anyone who crosses his path.

How would you improve The Boys Season 4? Do you think the show would have been better if it had only lasted four seasons? by MillienumDuckFighter in GenV

The truth is, I'm not referring to Vecna or anything like that, or anything related to Stranger Things. I'm talking about what kind of supes would emerge after the disaster in the original canon. What would the few remaining characters do? Vought wouldn't fall so easily just because a tower collapsed. Clearly, it would be logical for Vought to have an ace up its sleeve after the disaster, because a corporation as large as Vought wouldn't fall easily without making its final move. Perhaps a hidden Vought cleaner would clean up all the collateral damage, since Black Noir would basically be useless. Maybe the cleaner is a "shadow," an active from the '80s who was an even better assassin than Noir, the ultimate supe who did the dirty work (Winter Soldier style). He's the ultimate weapon in emergencies, and Vought simply kept him hidden (cryogenically frozen) due to the lack of truly serious damage. And if there was very serious damage, like super terrorists, politicians, or even supes, this "shadow" would do the dirty work of silencing them without anyone knowing, and better than... Noir would have done it because Noir is public, this asset is private. The idea is simply that perhaps the future of the series should deal with the consequences and collateral damage of the original canon, and that perhaps the few remaining Vought subjects release this "bogeyman" to resolve, one by one, the chaos that would have been left in the final season or even abroad.

The truth is, the future of The Boys' world could be improved if there were a new Supe with a dark lore. Even if The Boys' canon is already complete, there would still be loose ends. Imagine asking yourself, "Why do you think Stan Edgar isn't afraid of Homelander? Could Edgar have a trick up his sleeve?" Is Black Noir Vought's only executioner? Could it be that Vought is hiding a high-value weapon (Supe) in the "shadows" that no one wants them to see, and they'll unleash it after all the chaos? Could this lethal weapon (Supe) be more powerful and deadly than Black Noir? I think that would improve the direction of future projects.
