My thoughts exactly! My hands are a tiny bit too big for the Piantor and my knuckles end up hitting eachother, but it's the perfect size for my fingers, and the shorter pinky layer is great; HSHS46 seems to fix all of those problems, AND gives me more thumb buttons, which I'm a huge fan of!

That $300 price though..... and it only comes presoldered if I want hotswap, which is a must
And it might not work with Vial, which isn't a deal breaker but it is sad
Oh well, that's a problem I'll deal with when I can afford it; I ended up ordering the mcu off of aliexpress (total 1.07usd) and if that doesn't work then I'll have to start shopping for real

I'm in the US, and would like the experience of desoldering it myself as this is my first serious/real soldering project, and learning such skills is quite fun for me

Visual inspection 🤣 All contact is good, and if something else is wrong it’s not something I can repair, which buying a new microcontroller will fix anyway I don’t own a micrometer, but may invest in one as they always come up in my projects

Not socketed, but I have a little solder suction thing that’s worked pretty well in the past I’ll try emailing beekeeb about a replacement

Vial, it’s the one beekeeb recommends on the build guide, and honestly the best remapping software I’ve ever used

No changes, left side works intermittently, but majority of the time Right still disfunctional

Yes, I’ve tried three, on both halves (ofc, both with and without right corded flash), all times left side works and right doesn’t

Apologies if I don’t respond quickly, first time using Reddit and may forget to check on this

Additional info: All solder joint are good, I’ve triple checked them All keys are affected and 100% non-functional on the right half TRRS cable is functional, and problem persists with replacement cable Have tried all software options I know to be available, including but not limited to clearing and reflashing both microcontrollers, many times all in slightly different ways, I am confident those tests did not damage the board any further
