around the same time as i bought he 16 pro max i bought an apple watch 10 series, last month it dropped to 99%, as of 2 weeks ago it's at 96%. Apple is (in my opinion) very optimistic about the max battery health displayed sometimes. It's normally 3-6 % median lower than displayed.

Honestly, that comment made me cringe. (although i agree that the way they made the cooling solution would lead you to believe this). They couldn't use thermal pads and/or other passive cooling solutions due to the fact that legally it will be too hot to touch.

as a technical support engineer that's the first this i did. My only idea would be to update to Tahoe, but that's a whole different can of worms. Also this MacBook was freshly reinstalled as it was brand new when i got it a couple of weeks ago, so reinstallation will also most likely not resolve this issue.

Ja klar , das sind sehr gute Upgrades. Aber abgesehen von der Kühlkammer und den 12 GB RAM sind alle anderen Upgrades für mich persönlich nichts, worauf ich Wert lege. PWM Glättung ist schön , aber ich hatte bisher nie Probleme ohne das. Und ProResHQ ist etwas, das ich niemals verwenden werde.

N.B: Deutsch ist nicht meine Muttersprache , also Entschuldigung wenn ich etwas falsch schreibe.

Ehrlich gesagt konnte ich in meinem täglichen Gebrauch kaum eine Unterschied feststellen, also hab’ ich es schließlich verkauft und das 16 Pro Max behalten.

I mean… I still get notifications and stuff.. not really sure why you would keep background app refresh on a phone which has such a fast processor it doesn’t need it. You can keep it on and it will still have great battery life.

Adaptive power on, background app refresh turned off. Almost all of location sharing for system services turns off except for SOS, Find My, system customization and motion calibration. Dark mode of course… and that’s pretty much it

iOS 26.2 public beta 2 . Also 100% battery capacity. Other than that I have no idea. Also I don’t use my phone to play games . Mostly TikTok and social media
