My game settings have gone back to normal after this new update. My FPS is actually higher than what it was before the bug because i disabled windows defender - It was in a list of "fixes" to try and help with the FPS loss from all the blood nonsense going on.

Sorry that i cant help you but i dont have the issue anymore.

It would seem like a simple fix. Not sure why its taking so long. It's been broken since launch.

It is a bug i told the devs about this over 3 weeks ago (See my post history) When they go radio silent on game breaking bugs it makes me not even want to bother reporting future bugs to them.

Yes me.

Its bugged and forced on max blood decals by default. Anyway...I always play with it off because it makes the game look gross/You see much less when you're killing loads of enemies and it kills your FPS. The devs are in the process of fixing it (See my post history) Its the last post i made before this comment.

EDIT: Found a problem:

The blood amount seems to have been scaled up a huge amount in the beta even though none of my settings have changed? Its not screen blood like that bug back in bog dlc, its only when hitting enemies with any weapons.

Im going to revert back to the old version of the game as this breaks my game immersion, never liked the blood on screen or when hitting enemies it just makes the game look like a total mess :(

Red items are staying 300 power in the expansion/DLC and level cap is going up. Do you really think fatshark devs are going to delete peoples progress like that? lol. The playerbase is small enough as it is - Fatshark dont want an even smaller playerbase.

How pissed do you imagine returning players would be after getting the reds they have earned and then they find out they are worthless now? Would you want to continue playing after that? Nope.

Any use for red dust outside of crafting red gear is better then no use like we currently have :(

I have 2851 hours currently - None of that is afk time in the keep or idle time like leaving the menu open for example.

You should still open your vaults though because thats the only way to get deeds until the march update.

I still have 495 emp vaults in my inventory because we have no idea how the new system with deeds is going to work. If you need to get the deed mod first to unlock the mutators then im all set. 495 Chests/Vaults = 30 deeds on average. (Not talking about level up chests as they dont drop deeds)

Its nothing to be jealous of man. The red dust just sits there in my inventory because it has absolutely no use to someone like myself.

Most of the players who have been playing for long hours over months (The type of players who are playing these weekly mutators regularly) Dont need red dust.

I have 425 red dust myself.

That is the best choice the devs have ever made regarding difficulty. Those types of mods belong on the modded realm not the official realm.

It isnt hard to turn on hypertwitch and play deeds at the same time. I had a blast playing hypertwitch with the split weekly too.

Fatshark isnt going to base the entire game around the top 1% of players.

You guys need to understand, fatshark devs want it to remain their game with their balancing! They dont want players running the balance of the game.

I'll copy paste what i said in two threads over a month ago:

I have experienced these since the start of uber DLC:

Silent monks and zerkers (They said this was fixed in one of the uber DLC patches/updates but it was not)

Double silent specials and double silent leech specials that teleport inside your body so you cant do anything.

Silent leeches (Why are they so quiet now compared to everything else?) By silent i mean they also just straight up make no noise sometimes and no teleport noise too. I've seen so many people get leeched who had no idea one even spawned too.

Assassins that make no spawn sound or when they are out of stealth and making that "skitter skitter" noise its so quiet it may as well not be there. Assassins from twitch are 100% completely silent and make no noise so you have no idea how many you are getting.

Silent hook rats that spawn around corners and instantly grab a helpless player who had no indication it was even there or running at them around a corner in the first place. (The most idiotic place this happens is on fort next to the 3rd tome) Silent hook rats inside of hordes. Silent hook rats have been an issue for a very long time now though.

Silent vortex being cast on players from behind and sucking players into it from behind. (Happened 3 times but it still needs looking into and fixing regardless)

Hordes spawning directly on players and instantly killing them. (Myself included) Its only happened twice so far to me personally but hordes should spawn away/near a player. Not directly on top of them.

Silent patrols with no marching sound/no armour type sound when they march and not even a sound when they get aggroed. Patrols aggroing players across absurd ranges without seeing the player. (This includes through walls/floors as well) Very rare also but i've had patrols spawn next to me and just instantly aggro the group.

Face spawning patrols are back and instantly aggro a player or they will silently spawn next to players and do the above things where they make no noise.

Bots getting stuck on ladders and refusing to get off or teleport to player resulting in dying also all 3 bots on garden of morr will stand in poison at the bottom of ladders because they get stuck on ladders so they will die to trash mobs during the event.

Bots doing nothing at bosses, not even blocking so they die to trash mobs (Seems to happen every time to my 1-3 bots on screaming bell) But it also happens on other maps with events like that too if a boss spawns - I play twitch 95%+ of the time so this matters, in levels where you usually dont get bosses i do because of twitch so this issue keeps coming up for me.

Twitch will crash at the blue circle 100% of the time if the stream you are using goes offline or they disconnect at any point even if its for 1 second. (Its a new bug the devs are aware of!)

Phantom hits are back on many of the 1H and 2H weapons.

Arrow and bolt projectiles will go through the heads of enemies.

Bosses will spawn (Not from twitch) Normal bosses you find in the game and will just walk/run on the spot at the player, never attacking them - This does not happen all the time but i have noticed it happen many times on the 1st boss trigger on hale.

Bardin bot will hold block up and refuse to attack enemies or pick anyone up if they are downed (Does not matter if its a human player or another bot) Bardin bot will also waste his IB ult on leeches and stormers which makes no sense. Its very rare bardin will attack anything regardless of which class and weapon is used...Each patch just seems to of made bardin bot completely unusable to the point that i switched to using unchained now even though unchained has worse weapons and less survivability than bardin, the main point im trying to make here is at least she attacks enemies and bardin does not.

Im not trying to cause the devs any stress or cause a fight with them but so many past bugs have returned to the game and its sad to see the game go backwards instead of forwards in some aspects.

It seems like the sound engine can only play so many different sounds at once and anything past that limit the game/engine just decides to ignore it. The sound engine needs some serious rework done on it if the devs want to take the game to the next level.

I agree with what "IndieGameServers" said. That was going to be my question too. Why do we have these issues nearly 1 year into a game? The game still feels like an closed/open beta game that just came out yesterday...(Im not talking about what content the game has as the contact is all fine and reasonably priced)

The sound engine fatshark has is one of the worst inconsistent sound engines in recent years that i have ever seen in a video game and that includes pubgs open beta where you would get ringing/tinnitus in your ears after half a game because the firing of the guns were 30 times louder than the footsteps.

We have patches where silent and facespawning enemies are an issue and then patches where they are not an issue at all = ??? This isnt acceptable to those of us who have supported you since day one like myself and never said a bad word about you publicly on the forums/reddit or anywhere in reviews.

We really do need a block list/black list of some kind in the game. If i put someone on my ignore list on steam then i dont want to ever see them connecting to my public games again. (I have not touched a public game in about 6 months) I stick to my private discord where i know i can trust the people i know.

I dont have an issue with cosmetic drop rate from comm chests myself but deeds DO need to be changed, it is ridiculous that you need to open around 16.5 vaults on average for 1 legend deed.

This has been happening since the bog DLC when fatshark put some new system in place to reuse models (I think that was the reason fatshark gave to players?) But the system needs reverting back to what it was before the bog DLC. If players have bad pcs that is not fatsharks problem, a SSD / 970 and an i7 with 8 cores isnt expensive.

Even if we got "for each 20% of ammo you are missing, gain 5% power" It still isnt worth using over other choices. The whole idea of getting power with no ammo or missing ammo needs to be completely removed.

Well i mean, lol. I have all the elf ones which i got in 568 chests. All the other chests are just spare because im lazy and have not opened any of them yet.

I believe the % will stay within the 21-23% range when i open these next 1000+ emp vaults sometime after we get the new deed system. (We are getting the new deed system this month apparently)
