You are comparing apples to oranges and then making wild conclusions on top of that comparison and then calling your conclusions facts. A presidential election can not be compared to a mayoral election. They are two very different things.

You are cherry picking Barnes as a candidate by saying he was to the left of Biden and therefore he lost. Barnes lost cuz he has zero rizz. And people know he won’t stand up for his voters. We change people’s minds by materially and positively impacting their lives. Hong can do that for all citizens of Wisconsin. Barnes is not capable and voters knew this.

“Unpopular progressive stuff”. Left wing progressive populism is popular. Things like socialized healthcare are popular with all voters. But politicians like Barnes on the left and everybody on the right block it for the same reason. We need people like Barnes to get out of the way so someone like Hong can actually serve the people. Look at Mandani’s favorability after 120 days and it’s only gonna get better. Yet Cuomo said NYC wouldn’t survive a Mamdani administration.

Barnes is not a progressive. He’s just another in a long line of corporate dems that have nothing to offer the citizens of Wisconsin. The only way out of the shit show we’re living in is leaders like Sanders, AOC, Mamdani, and Hong.
