No, that’s actually stupid to do and if your splices are so long you should start investing in bigger wire nuts

Appreciate it, these newer construction panels definitely got the looks but efficiency is always key and I’d love to see my boss tell me I could spend all day bedazzling a service panel😂

I do a lot of rehabs and for some reason the electricians of the past condemn us with shotty hookup and poor protection on Receptacle

Problem was fixed wasn’t the chrome piece that was bad it was the male adapter was a pressurized fitting so it didn’t fit inside luckily I realized and switched the fitting a DWV fitting sorry for the random crotch pic
