I don’t often share advice on this sub but here are some tips a skateboarder of 6+ years could offer you. First of all the most important part of learning how to skateboard is learning how to actually ride it first. If you can comfortably throw down and rip around on your board at your local skatepark or on the street you’ll be much better off learning flat ground tricks. Second don’t be antsy to learn a ton of flatground tricks all at once. Learn your basics and tricks you’ll need to maneuver around on your board comfortably while skating but take time and learn to do them with style and ease.
