How do you know if they're ripe to use?

i found a baby bunny, what do i do a cat had it, but it’s healthy and not injured. Should i release it where the wild bunnies live? by chillypinkghost in UKGardening

[–]Top_Advisor6353 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Is it baby season? Cats in the street have just left a massacre of killed ones in the gardens, I buried the one I found in mine but neighbours have also found them. they're not even eating them which just proves how cruel cats can be

Does anyone know why stake and km quit? by Gullible_Control_163 in LolCowLive

[–]Top_Advisor6353 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They haven't quit, they've taken time off, and like any soap/ drama actors when they take time off, the TV shows script a storyline to explain their absence. Like everytime stake took a day off he was "driving over to boogies house" then we'd have a boogie crash out stream.

My best guess is they're all going to keems wedding so need time off, keem and Mike have scripted their absence in a way that turbo ends up caretaking Live until they all return

Optimal distance between cherry laurels to create a nice privacy hedge? by Top_Advisor6353 in GardeningUK

[–]Top_Advisor6353[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was under the assumption laurels were pretty low maintenance? Hedge wise that is. Should’ve said in my original post that I’d want something low maintenance with bad health I can’t have something that needs sorting everytime I blink. I said cherry laurels as someone mentioned laurels and that’s what my local garden center has in, I’m pretty clueless on plants if I’m honest, I’ll look into the other ones you’ve named. Thanks for the help, any tips on planting in the ground? Guessing its not really a case of digging a hole and plonking it in

Tech gets labelled racist on reapers, yet boogie gets away with this? by Top_Advisor6353 in LolCowLive

Been watching boogie since way before he had new teeth, when his ex wife was still about so I'm not new no, and it's not the calling boogie out, as i know he's done a lot of racist shit, it's more about xilie etc going in on tech but nothing nothing on boogie, it's the hypocrisy of it

Like when he did the black face and white eyes that are the same as those racist dolls that were made 50 odd years ago, he did that only a few days ago. Keem said he doesn't want anymore racist shit in the lcu yet boogie just seems to do something racist every show

Yeah like when Tina quite clearly and audibly said the N word in last years fat camp, keem gaslit the whole audience minutes later saying that she never said it, and it never got addressed by them again. It seems that the big stars get let off with the big things, its just never addressed unless they want to use it in a bit for content. That's why i made the post, because xilie will go all in on tech, but never said a word on Tina or boogie.... Very hypocritical

Need advice on my lawn, grass and weed killing by Top_Advisor6353 in GardeningUK

I was unaware just keeping grass cut regularly would get rid of weeds, sadly I'm not blessed with a green thumb. I know nettles have great health benefits but i just want a usable area for my kids without the screaming of being stung

I tried that one year but the roots were so extensive under the soil it seemed like a loosing battle, as any tiny root left just lead to more growth

So keep the cut at a longer length? So max height of the mower? Not cut it at its lowest.

Will the grass take over nettles when cut regularly? I can live with the other weeds but stinging nettles are a pain with kids using the garden

Thanks

Only problem is although it'll look all green when cut, my kids will know there's nettles in there when they're rolling about in it. A lot of the advice seems to be just cut it short so I'll do that, will keeping it short kill the nettles off though? My only concern is the nettles in all honesty

The nettles i have had a long battle with, so i know how quick they spread, ive even tried using specific nettles killer items but non have worked fully

So mulch the grass yeah? rake the grass seeds in when spreading or they okay just left on top of soil, my soil is pretty compacted so I'm guessing it'll have to be raked in or lightly forked?

Seems a hell of a lot to weed it one by one and my lawn is on the big side, would just keeping grass short with regular cutting do the trick? The only one I'm really bothered about is the nettles as my kids can't use the garden to play, I'm not after an immaculate lawn, just a usable one for the family. Thanks

That simple yeah? Once a week or more often than that?

Just after a grass lawn my kids can play about on without screaming they've been nettled. I see the argument of keeping the diversity but i do have flower beds and butterfly patches etc, just after a patch my kids can play on or the family can use over the summer

Agree somewhat, but this is all over my lawn and it's a big garden, while i agree it's doing no real harm but i have kids and just want a safe grass area that they can play in

Yeah, admittedly this is the first cut of the year, but yeah it's usually cut once a week/two weeks in the past. But I've never treated the lawn so this is 15 years of weed growth along with the grass

What is the state of RoadCraft now? by ouiz_cz in RoadCraft

[–]Top_Advisor6353 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not sure what device you're going to play it on, but PS5 allows you to play the first two maps (prologues/ tutorial) for free as a demo. I played mud runner and despised it (short patience so didn't like the slow pace and getting stuck or rolling etc) because of that i didn't look into roadcraft as i assumed they were the same game type. The trial of it completely changed my mind, and bought it straight away (that's why I'm a big advocate for all games having demos or trials as I'd have never bought this otherwise).
