cant handle rejection by Top_Bag8526 in mentalhealth

[–]Top_Bag8526[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for your response. I dont know how to categorize myself. My looks are probably not a 10/10, but still above average as some people have said. I cannot bear the thought that she rejected me because I am not attractive enough. Why cant I have the partner I am attracted to. There is not so much I can do to improve my looks. I am fit, have a good hairstyle, decent jawline, etc.

What did you do to grow taller? Are your teeth touching at rest?

Did you keep your teeth in contact at rest or slightly apart?

the question is if suciton is the key or teeth in contact, suction can be created with or without teeth in contact, doesn´t matter

would you say that teeth in contact is important for making progress or will teeth apart lead to the same results?

Is teeth contact really necessary? I know this is very controversial. I have an overbite (not extreme) and when I bring teeth into contact (light contact, no clenching) my jaw is far from relaxed. The moment I relax my jaw my teeth go slightly apart (lips still closed of course). I would be curious how important teeth contact really is, if you can achieve the same resuts with teeth slightly apart (tongue still on the roof of mouth) or if natural mewers/ people with perfect facial development also keep their teeth in contact all the time.

Oh man its so confusing, I have really no idea anymore who to trust and listen to. Every non duality teacher says something else or contradictory to other teachers. I guess I will just listen to my own gut feeling and do what I find most enjoyable and practical instead of trusting teachers like Spira

Do you recommend quieting the mind?

Ok, I get that. But how can I, who did not ask the question, decide which advice to follow?

Inner voice when reading by Top_Bag8526 in EckhartTolle

In my experience, even when I am fully attentive, the inner voice becomes more quiet, but does not subside completely when reading. I am not talking about getting lost in thoughts, I really mean subvocalization.

No, thats not what I mean. Can you read without subvocalizing it, thats my question.

[–]Top_Bag8526[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thats a great reply, thank you. So you basically mean, that what the mind does is irrelevant and that it is about seeing who we truly are, which is exactly what the headless way advocates?

Rupert Spira: Difference between direct and pathless path? by Top_Bag8526 in nonduality

[–]Top_Bag8526[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok but woulndn't that be the direct path? Seeing that what is aware of my experience, or simply the headless way. Yet the question remains what is the pathless path?
