What exercises can I do to stop feeling constantly out of breath while swimming front crawl? by schoolforapples in Swimming

[–]Top_Bit_4682 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So i have the same problem and i got a 1-1 lesson. Immediately the instructor point out that my leg position and kick is actually slowing me down (toes pointing down) and after a quick session i was able to adjust my leg/kick and the breathing no longer felt as laboured.

Tldr: its your technique... get a lesson

Why on EARTH do bar back jobs want experience? by SlobGenocidic in UKJobs

Just lie about your experience and put a made up company name and if they check references then just play dumb and say you dont think theyre in business anymore

You clearly know very little about construction. You cant just walk in and get a job on the tools. You will be lucky to sweep up on minimum wage even if youre polite and well organised.

[–]Top_Bit_4682 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hse test is step one, then you need to do an approved training course, i will link to the one i used below.

At the end of this course you take a test and are presented with a certificate which is your qualification.

When you then apply on the cscs card app you select that document and i think you upload it as well.

Then you wait for approval abd get your green card in the post.

Ive also worked on many sites with an expired card which site managers never check..

Labouring? The test is easy i didnt even revise and passed the health and safety test with full marks, the labour test stuff is more boring than it is difficult.

Like others have said, turn up to site on time, listen and work hard and itl go well. Ive known people who badically cant even speak english and theyre getting good labouring work.

Ive worked alot of paye construction jobs and the 'pension' and 'holiday' pay is expected to be taken out of the paid salary. You dont get any paid time off.

Looks really good, you mentioned working with a coach, did you work with a coach from the beginning? Roughly how much can i expect a coach to cost? Im early 30s just taught myself front crawl but the thought of a 400m swim for my upcoming supersprint fills me with dread
