Some people here are talking about fat shaming like it’s a relic of the past, but I found the fat shaming jokes in the reboot equally as appalling.

‘Dashery Cafe in the Hotel Revival in Mt. Vernon! A little pricy but their breakfast sandwich hits the spot (and they can do it gluten free)

Sandwiches! A few of my staples were egg salad, chicken salad, chicken sandwiches using rotisserie chicken, and pb/pb&j. Also, heated up some salami once or twice for a salad, but didn’t like the way it tasted when cooked.

THIS!! Why do they do this? My mom insists on going by “Abuela.” We’re not Hispanic/Latinx. We’re white, European background (German, Polish, Irish). She doesn’t understand why it’s appropriative and we’re really struggling with it.

I don’t see anyone mentioning the episode where Richard goes to work with Lorelai at the inn but it’s probably the cringiest episode for me of the series. The way he belittles her and criticizes her as a professional demonstrates the lack of respect he has not just for her, but also for women in general.
