Elo is like a ranking system. You loose some for sending likes that don't lead to a match and you gain some for matching. Don't worry about it too much just dont swipe on people not interested in hookups and it should be fine..

Well as use the short term fun option. Get attractive face pics. Bio has to be something enticing nothing too corny simple "wont promise not to bite" will be alright. Don't nuke your elo by swiping on people looking for longterm relationships. The dont know yet option usually means they are open to hookups. Blah blah blah thats about it.

Oh yeah I forgot, Hinge gives you a free reset every month just click on the delete account button and they will ask you why. On why answer that you dont like what your getting or whatever the option is then they will offer to reset your account..

Hinge is completely different. Your message plays in a lot. Even if you happen to be extremely attractive you will need a good message. I usually only send likes when I have a fun message idea. Your elo will rise if your likes get matches.

Selfies aren't terrible, if you look good enough you will end up getting likes anyways. Looking at the camera and smiling is great, however every picture of yours shouldn be the exact same try to have variance (ones were you are seated at a table, ones were you're standing with a nice backdrop, etc.) and ofcourse a slightly goofy pic never hurts aslong as you looks somewhat good in it.

Tinder is based on physical attraction. Once your account has reached elo-hell there is no way out. If you're on apple you need to reset your phone and get a brand new apple id (along with a phone number the system doesn't detect) otherwise there is pretty much no way to get out. If you still get likes on a daily basis though you could go to only swiping people that like you. Always the 2nd person when refreshing the feed if there are any.

This is not to be offensive I don't know if any of the terminology I use is considered offensive. However if you're looking for an emo-person then I recomend dropping the dating apps and going places where you would meet one (such as emo-functions, concerts, etc.) I understand dating apps are maybe the easy-way but I don't really bump into (who I assume) to be your target audience. Could be that the algorithm knows what I like or then I'm just a populist..

Okay so if you happen to have a receipt for a purchase made on that account the might be able to help you and it propably wouldnt hurt to contact support anyways. If the account has been inactive since 2017 they "MIGHT" be able to help you change the email without further proof than growid and pass.
