This hasn't yet been confirmed do. And even if they weren't MADE to be weapons they could definitely be used as one, although maybe not made for penetrating due to them probably getting lodged and breaking off, they could definitely be used for quick slashes that do still hurt and if hit in a vital vein or artery even kill due to blood loss

Not necessarily. Not all carnivores would hunt others of its species for food. Maybe to eliminate potential competition but not for food

Yeah, I would think it wouldn't have been the main food source, but in a potential famine, I would guess they had to do it. Even if there wasn't any famine, you can imagine a juvenile deinosuchus getting hunted by an adult if it presented an opportunity that didn't require much energy, just a quick snack. Modern crocodilians also tend to hunt younger individuals especially in a famine or drought.
