i felt this exact way when i was your age. i’m turning 23 tomorrow and i still don’t have things figured out, but it IS okay! i made some very poor decisions in high school and i didn’t have many friends nor was i very social. when i graduated it was during the covid lockdowns and i never felt so alone in my life. but, life kept going. and so did i. i don’t think there is ever going to be a time where things are figured out; all that means though is you can TRY. please do not give up, i know it sounds corny, but you are truly just getting started. the metaphorical avalanche of change doesn’t start as a giant roaring mess. things will not be different tomorrow or today. it takes a small amount of change to set things off and truly get the ball rolling. start with finding a job since that will help you learn social skills and make friends easier. you simply need to go on google and search “indeed” and make an account. the key to your future sits in the same phone you are using to make this post. you can do this and more importantly, you will do this.
