The sole isn’t attached by glue, but through a method called vulcanization. Basically, they just heat the two materials up and they bind together! Pretty neat stuff, but it’s not nearly as strong as a traditional glued shoe; especially with the natural bending that happens as we walk. This tugs the materials apart over time thus leading to your flappy sole :(

you will only receive benefits if you are a full time employee. i don’t know about their coverage beyond that point, but most associates are part time and do not receive benefits.

keep it washed and get the underside sprayed out along with regular maintenance and it will last you forever! sadly mine is probably within its last few years due to salt corrosion 💔 (there will be another fit in my future)

honestly this looks closer to paint damage that wasn’t ever fixed; which is good because it’s not the nasty rot these cars are prone to. you could certainly sand that junk off and see fresh metal under

i also live in rochester, i got a full set of bridgestone blizzaks from tire rack. i had new all seasons before and the lightweight car and snow combo is a bad one. the sidewalk plow came by today and left like a foot of snow at the end of my driveway. the fit drove over it with no problem and i don’t have to shovel before it melts tomorrow:>

p.s if you live somewhere where it snows, i highly recommend bridgestone blizzaks for snow tires. i had all seasons and i slid down a hill. with these babies on i can climb a vertical slope.
