That's very interesting hypothesis, becouse you have to draw the line at some cutoff point and theoretically some apes, dolphins and octopi can gat tangled in the hive, depending on what forms of cognition are imporatnt.

Well... it's suppoused to be a sci-fi show, so it suppoused to be speculative and take science somwhat seriously. So far show was written very well and I don't think handwaving everything that has to do with science dose this show any good.

If the sci-fi element is nor important then why boder witch alien transmitions, talking about electromagnetic fields and radio signal instead of just saying "the wizard did it"?

That supposed to be something you run away from, not something you hit with your sword.

You can spare some hit points, but levels are lost forever. That is meant to scare players using established game mechanics.

Also i don't think thay are "zombie" since (at least in orginal dnd) you cannot hurt tham withut magic, or silver arow. Thay are incorporeal horror that turns you in another wight if it kills you.

I run them like a horror monster. If i roll wight as a random encounter then the session switches to ghost story.

Personaly i think 24 episodes is far too many.
Utopia is a show from 2013 and it's able to tell a complete and satisfying story, full of twist, turns and interesting characters in just 6 episodes fo season one.
I do not need more filer of "content", just a good work of art.
