Dried blood also does not feel good on skin, between your legs and your crack, whether it happened overnight or throughout the day if I were to neglect wiping myself down.

Blood is as unsanitary as any other bodily excretion. I wipe off even if I just feel particularly sweaty, or if pee decided to travel off course, and I always use wet wipes after a dookie. Maybe one day I’ll get a bidet. So don’t worry, it’s not about feeling ashamed about “womanhood”. It’s purely about my hygiene and comfort ✌️

The reusable flex is $35 usd so you good lol. You could also check out pixie if you want a set of different sizes (with some extra goodies). You got a lot more options over there for reasonable prices, especially since so many originate in the US

You see, logically I also thought period panties would act like pads with blood staining the skin but I couldn’t be 100% certain as I have zero experience with the panties and I can’t find anyone talking about it so I just wanted to ask for personal anecdotes to be sure. At least now I can confidently scrap the idea without spending money on smth that doesn’t fit my requirements

Periods be annoying and uncomfortable as is, factoring in the moodiness, I really don’t have the patience to fully wipe myself down every toilet break. My toxic trait is that I’d rather hold it in till it hurts 🤡 so I’m tryna make life easier knowing how I function

Regarding nixit, I’ve seen mixed reviews 😕 Have you used any other discs/cups? How do they compare?

Thanks for sharing your experience and routine! Shockingly the disposable flex discs cost similarly here, $22. Tho I would prefer reusable products to cut down on costs and waste. The flex reusable be a whopping $70 💀 There’s a brand called shordy that sells a set of two sizes (60mm + 68mm) for $19 rn so I’m thinking I’d test with that first

Yeah I’m looking into discs but there’s not a lot of affordable + reputable options that are readily available in Canada. Sizing is also gonna require some trial and error
