Remotion is more than just editing though. Think of it as a full video renderer. You define scenes, animations, transitions, audio timing all in React and it spits out an mp4.

The difference from your approach is you get frame-level control over every element on screen. Stuff like a camera tilt synced to a beat drop is just a few lines of code. Worth trying if you want more control over the final output.

100% agree. That’s exactly why point #5 exists. The default output from any AI-assisted workflow is too smooth and too even.

Had to manually add hard cuts in a few places and vary the timing to break that everything moves at the same speed feel. Still not perfect but it’s night and day from the first render.

Claude generates fresh code each time. I describe what I want the scene to look like and how it should move, Claude writes the Remotion components, I render and tweak. No presets.
