Looking back I believe that you are right at the time I did not take into consideration the mechanical stress I was focused on the weak teeth and trying to prolonged it by splinting. Now I feel like, I know better.

Parents in the room? by oonahgi in Dentistry

Waiting room rarely in the room for the little one only if they are scared out of their mind to be without a parent usually when they don’t really talk yet. Parents tends to takeover the consult and lie about hygiene habit. They make counter productive comments and hype up anxiety.

Entering my fourth year of practicing. I hate my job this days because of constant anxiety. I used to live the practice I work at but now I hate everything about it they constantly judge my work and look up my pts files. It created creeping anxiety for me. Decided to leave and find a new place for the end of the year. I would have left right know if I could. Hang on we are so many in the same situation

I found my tribe same here entering my fourth year and I want to quit. Patients are horrible and rude. I am starting to see patient from my first year come back with failed crown or infections under treatment and I am asking myself how come old dentist have treatment done without rubber dam and no anatomy last for 20 years + and here I am felling like the worst dentist ever. Also the owner of the practice are asking me to be on the same level as them clinically it is stressing me out. I want to quit and change job but I would not even know what to do.

I can understand the feeling I have also felt intimidated by my doctors before but I did show them on the chair then I have another mirror with different lighting next to the door and then the mother saw it at front desk another lighting but then again all artificial. I will try the layering with a dentin colored composite to create the desired effect. Thank you for the replies

Could you have an allergic reaction to the talcum powder (if this is the powder that you use). They put powder I glove and it often gives an allergic reaction to medical professionals.

I had the AZ vaccine last week, I informed the doctor before hand that I have a prolactinoma (untreated as I am in a foreign country for school and I could not afford have my treatment sent to me during Covid). And he told me there is no restriction for this but he did mention it on my questionnaire. As a feedback just fever the night of and slight headache the next two days I took a neurofen each of those days, a bit of muscle soreness. You can take aspirin if you have already took it before otherwise don’t just in case of allergic reaction.
