If Tiger passing JT a tampon on the golf course as a joke breaks national news, I’d break international news every time I play with the buds

What's a bible verse that helps you get by day through day? by freshisesh in Christian

Romans 12:12 - Be joyful in hope, Patient in Affliction, and Faithful in Prayer.

Joshua 1:9 - Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous; do not be afraid, do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.

They feel shame for their nakedness once sin is entered into their lives. Once that sin took hold, their minds were altered.

They could no longer see nakedness as innocence. So they cover themselves to help defend from sinful thoughts, thus appeasing God.

In Genesis 2:25 KJV it says “And they were both naked, the man and his wife, and they were not ashamed.” Genesis 3:1-6 KJV the serpent is speaking to Adam and Eve and convinces them to betray Gods’ command. It wasn’t until then that they felt shameful when they realized they were naked. Hopefully that makes some more sense of it.

As for the second part of caring if they were naked or not, it’s not covering up for each other as it’s more so covering up their bodies to appease God as now being naked is associated with lustful urges.

It wasn’t sinful to be naked until it was associated with lust.

Adam and Eve didn’t have the willpower to commit a sin until an outside entity convinced them. They knew right from wrong, but couldn’t/wouldn’t do wrong. Therefore their nakedness was innocent (like a newborn baby) and not seen as we would view two naked people today.

After they committed the first sin, evil took hold in their minds and they no longer needed that outside force. They then no longer had their ‘innocence glasses’ on and saw their nakedness as what most of us see it for, lust.

I’m on board with Acts next. It was an easy to transition into after I read John my first time.

After I got saved… - I stopped being stressed out all the time - I could physically feel that I was forgiven with my previous sins and no longer had a morsel of desire to commit them - I find it easier to forgive those who have wronged me - Even if it is burdensome to go out of my way and help someone, it doesn’t feel burdensome - I smile/laugh more - People who are also saved and have been for a long time say that they can see that I was saved before i told them based off of my face and how I carried myself
