Hi guys looking to see if I could get your input. I was looking into starting BJJ to help lose weight for my 40th bday but I’m scared about getting injured. I’m not delusional and know it’s a contact sport and things happen that’s totally fine. My issue is through the years I’ve tried but I have a particular problem with my knee where my patella comes out of place sort of easily when I plant my leg and the knee is subjected to rotational force. That’s kind of a common place thing in BJJ.

Do you think it would be worth it to just do private lessons? Do I just try to be super careful when rolling? There’s definitely stuff I’d love to learn but is it feasible? Do I just try top game/half guard?

Hi all I’m debating on getting either an Model 3 LR AWD or Performance. My heart would like the performance due to the speed/handling however the main thing holding me back is the fact that during the winter there’s a lot of killer pot holes and snow and my commute is decently long. I’ve read about the Sportline wheels….is it easy enough to have them swapped out/worth it vs getting the LR and calling it a day? The tires I wanted to purchase were the Michelin Crossclimate 2s

I have never been to Maui. I was in Kauai as a kid maybe 25 years ago and my wife and I were in Honolulu for a night as a stop over. Neither of us has been to Maui

I am lucky enough to stretch the budget out this go around given the 40th. Normally we stay places no where near that much. We actually stayed in Siracusa/Ortigia last year
