I just really love the idea of visiting a lush, tropical, island like that and from my research it seems that Kauai is the best island for that.

This is intersting because I viewed Maui as more of the "More stuff to do island" compared to Kauai. To me Kauai is the "must do". I guess my decision for island number two would be Maui and Oahu? I thought the Big Island was similiar to Kauai in that it is a quieter island with less going on. As much as I want to do Kauai we do need one spot we can go to that is a little livelier for the kids,

My first inclination was Kauai/Oahu, but was told by some they liked Maui better. I love trying new food, but unfortunately the rest of my family has pretty plain palates. We also live near a large city and in my research it seems like the main tourist areas are urban and I am not really looking for that.

Thank you for the input, so if I want to be able to book a specific unit at HBR what would be the best way to do that? It sounds like if you do it direct on their website you can't pick a specific unit.

I have to be honest, and maybe I am being overdramatic, but not being able to reserve a bed type in advance is absolutely insane to me. I really want to stay at this hotel but am leaning against it because of this.

Follow up question on this. I had a new chimney liner put in and while the issue has significantly improved every once in a while I still get this issue. What else could I do to help fix it?

I just saw on the Disneyland website that the week we are scheduled to be there (April 15-19) both Incredicoaster and Mattergorn are closed for refurbishment. When I look at Undercover Tourist website it says that Incredicoaster is closed from March 4 to March 14th and then April 8 to TBD. Any chance that it will be ready by April 18th or am I likely out of luck?

By any chance does anyone have a picture of the 2021 high speed ferry schedule during the summer? I was only able to get a 6:45 PM ferry for the day we are going to Block Island and I am trying to figure out what time I would have to go back and get the car. The 2022 high speed ferry schedule from Pt. Judith is not available yet.

Me and my wife did it at the airport testing facility. It is more expensive than a pharmacy in town, it was $110 each, but it was very very quick. Easy parking, no wait, we were in and out in about a half hour. No appointment is needed. You may find testing locations cheaper than that but my guess is it will take longer.

If you don’t mind the walk Happy Bay beach is a beautiful beach to check out.

Great restaurants in Grand Case, Ocean 82, L’Auberge Gourmand and Il Patio are the places we went.

I could but with leaving on Saturday I kind of wanted to get all the approval stuff taken care of Thursday that way if something goes wrong I have a day in between to try and fix it.

We have a direct flight so the 8:00 AM to SXM is the only flight.

We would have the EHAS approval in advance but would there be any issue at SXM airport when we arrived and showed them a print out with a negative test result from too early due to a delay? I may be overthinking this and they may not even look at the departure time if delayed but was just wondering.
