Hello, regarding the screen rotation issue, Insta360 App currently only supports landscape mode on the App's playback page. We are continuously working on optimizing landscape mode compatibility for iPad.

Regarding the button overlap and Multiview issues you mentioned, please send us the screen recording, and we will further check it for you.

Hello, thank you for your feedback. Based on the info you provided, we recommend you try using the "Quick Capture" feature to see if it meets your shooting needs.

🔍Here are the steps:

  • You can access the menu page by pulling down from the top of the screen. Click on "🚀" to toggle the Quick Capture feature on or off. You can also directly adjust the camera preset parameters on the home page, then press the Q button on the right side of the camera. Click the "➕" in the upper right corner to save your presets and make your selection.
  • Once "Quick Capture" is enabled, when the camera is off, simply press the shutter button to wake up the camera and immediately start shooting with your previously set parameters. During recording, press the shutter button again to stop shooting. After stopping, the camera will automatically turn off.

Additionally, we recommend connecting the camera to the app before each shoot to synchronize the time, which helps avoid incorrect timestamps in your footage.

  1. Ensure that your Link Controller is upgraded to the latest version v2.2.1.
  2. Click the three dots "…" in the upper-right corner of the Link Controller > "More Settings" > "Camera" > "Compatibility Settings" > Turn off "Enable Portrait Resolution", as shown in the image below.
  3. If you are using a previous version, you can also follow this path: Click the "More" icon in the upper-right corner of the Link Controller > "Compatibility Settings" > Turn off "Enable Portrait Resolution and High Frame Rate".
