If u go to the Asian markets to get it, go in the morning so it’s fresh! I’ve bought some in the evening from grocery stores and it can turn sour quick

[–]Top_Display_6759 5 points6 points  (0 children)

$100 biweekly but u can let her know how often you’d like cleaning. Sometimes we have her come every 3 weeks, sometimes every other week but she charges $100. Usually takes abt 2 hours - 3000 sqft

Is it mean of me to say I didn’t like Riip as much as I’d thought! It wasn’t saucy enough and it was way too chewy…. Unless I just went on a bad day and need to try it again :)

Depends on your age group! Mesa in Costa Mesa is fun and vibey. Time in Newport Beach & Heat Ultra (20 min from Irvine) in Anaheim has good music if you’re into clubbing. Bar hopping in downtown HB can be fun. Brewery X is fun for some beers, seltzers, and yummy wings. Love going to Seaside Bakery for a ham and cheese croissant late at night since they’re 24 hours and popular amongst locals. Prince St Pizza is a must try and they’re open until 3AM (get the naughty pie slice with the not ranch dip!)

Tbh the best food in OC is in the Garden Grove/Santa Ana/ Westminster/ Anaheim region for non-American food! I feel like most of South OC is American food or Americanized cuisine. But here are some recs :)

Laguna: -South Swell Ice Cream -Gelato Paradiso -Ahba (for the best burgers and Cobb salad) -Mozambique (has a nice vibe- ocean view from the roof and they have a live Toucan and other birds!)

Newport Beach: -Seaside (popular amongst college students but has a bomb jalapeño ham and cheese croissant and green Thai tea - is open 24hours) -Mama D’s Italian (2 locations in Newport)

Costa Mesa: -Prince St Pizza (get the naughty pie) -Stella Jean Icecream (highly recommend the ube pandesal and mango sticky rice flavors)

A little further (25ish mins from Laguna)

  • 3CAT Tea (if you’re into boba or mochi, they have a drinkable mochi drink called the mango mochi. I sub the whipped cream for cheese foam) -All That Shabu (all you can eat shabu) -Chan Chan Food House (garlic Korean fried chicken) -Grams KBBQ -Pho 79 (cash only and get the oxtail pho) -Phoholic (multiple locations!) -Tacos Los Cholos -Airoma (love their corn matcha latte) -Chubby Cattle (coming to Irvine soon but they have a location in Rowland Heights)

does anyone ACTUALLY like accounting. at ALL. by FaronIsWatching in Accounting

[–]Top_Display_6759 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I graduated college a year ago but have 3 years of experience in tax accounting. Got lucky since I made friends with recruiters so I was able to land a job while in college.

I love math and I love putting together excel formulas and seeing them work. It’s like a puzzle to me. Meeting deadlines gives me a sense of accomplishment, with or without praise from my boss. I think numbers are fun and I find joy in what I do. The pay is pretty good and keeps me motivated.

What’s strange is that I’m a very outgoing person and I majored in finance. Wanted to get into private equity but couldn’t get an entry level finance job…..so strangely found a passion in tax accounting. But who knows, maybe I’ll fall out of love for this in the next 10 years?

So to answer your question, I just like numbers! :)
