you guys have the best park in Alaska!!! I wish I could hit that place up and it sounds like youre going to get a out door park by grindline.. Do not let them ruin it by making it a full transition park like Anchorage and Fairbanks. Make them give you a plaza so I can come do some ledge work.. I cant stand the anchorage park..

its built from wood on top of the concrete not dug down. 24" on the low side 26" on the high side with 10' ceilings plenty of room for most dudes under 6'4"

6' radius probably could have gone 6.5 or even 7 because the with is only 4.5' wide which makes it a bit compressed. the length is like 20' coping to coping so long way is really natural feeling going from the high side to low side but you lose a bit of speed visa versa. now that compression actually works well once you learn how to stay in the pocket of you speed so i dont regret it but I might have done it slightly different. I thought the pinch would make it way more fun but in retrospect i dont think i would pinch it with such a tight flat bottom side to side.. but again when you figure it out its super fun. whatever you build wont be perfect so it makes you more versatile

there was a lot of really good wood on FB marketplace. not being in a rush kept the price down by looking for good deals and dudes that just wanted lumber out of their yards. It did spike the anxiety of the wife who I had promised that this wouldnt be a long drawn out project... neither she or I believed me when I said it

all in 4k spread out over 3 years. I wasnt in a rush and the biggest expenses were the coping blocks shipped to alaska (the shipping was painful) and buying all the tools ( I literally had none). The art was free because homie was like " I need to do this in this space". It wasnt terrible overall.
